A - Body is pitch black. Two fingers of brown head form which fades slowly. Lots of lacing. Great looking stout.
S - Cooked fruit and rich cocoa. Mild black pepper spice and some spicy hops.
T - Tons of sharp, bitter roasted grains. Intense french roast coffee, unsweetened cocoa, and mild underlying caramel malts. Finish is semi-sweet and quite rich. Booze is just detectable as the beer warms. This is an imperial stout in every sense of the words. Not for the faint of heart, that's for sure.
M - Thick body. Balanced carbonation. Finish is semi-dry with residual burnt sugar flavor/feel.
