A - Pours pitch black with a two finger dark mocha head. Left no lacing.
S - Bitter dark coffee, roasted and burnt malts, cocoa, molasses.
T - Dutch cocoa, bitter dark, dark coffee, Sweet and dark chocolate soon come into the mix. Alcohol makes it's way into the finish.
M - Slick, sweet oily body with moderate carbonation.
O - Overall, I had no been disappointed by a beer I have drank tonight and this is no exception. It's a great bitter stout that would fair well with a well-done steak on a cold winter night.
