Presentation: 12 oz. bottle poured into a pint glass. Chilled since buying. Really fresh, as the bottle is labelled as 10/4/12, so this is barely two weeks old.

Appearance: Deep golden yellow to very light orange in color. Pours a slight white head that recedes into a light lacing. Sticks well to the glass.

Aroma: Fresh tropical hop character explodes upfront. Lots of mango, pineapple, and grapefruit notes. Very lush, with minimal malt character.

Taste; The fresh hops are really apparent here and they give a really nice tropical fruit hop note to this beer. Tons of sweet honey, mango, pineapple and just a hint of bitter pine to balance this out. Really nice balance throughout.

Mouthfeel: Light bodied and very crisp and drinkable.

Overall, a really stellar IPA. The fresh tropical hop notes really pop yet remain really drinkable. One of the better non local IPA's I've had in a very long time. Obviously the freshness helps a lot in that regard, but the flavor profile is really nice. A new favorite of mine. Vastly exceeded my expectations.
