Pours a hazy orange-amber color with a big fluffy white head. Decent retention and some nice patches of sticky lace are left behind.

Massive aroma of juicy grapefruit and piney hops. Mild hint of spicy rye and sweet malt in the back.

Hoppy, but not overly bitter or sharp. Lots of herbal and floral flavors, citrus, and minty hops abound. Hops are nicely balanced by the malt sweetness and the spiciness from the rye add a nice kick. Finishes with a lingering herbal/floral hop flavor. No bad but the floral/herbal hop character of this beer is not my thing.

Medium in body, smooth and creamy. Tingles on the tongue between the carbonation and spice. Pretty good drinkability, but I wasn't digging the herbal and floral hop flavors.
