Appearance- Pours a copper-amber with two fingers of fluffy creamy head.
Smell- Caramalts, citrus hops, wheat/grass, orange.
Taste- Similar to the aromas with a mild tartness and biterness.
Mouthfeel- Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall- A nice amber ale by Madison. This doesn't stand out as the star of the style but is still enjoyable nonetheless.

12oz bottle - available in Alberta in the Madison River variety pack.
This beer pours a clear, somewhat glassy medium gilded copper hue, with a thin cap of fizzy beige head, which dissipates in the time it took to appraise the situation, leaving a low-slung ring of lace around the glass.
It smells of nutty caramel, kind of biscuity malt, a bit of burnt sugar, and leafy, woody, earthy hops. The taste is good and malty, the biscuit and oily nuttiness really pushing to the forefront, that brown sugar undertone still sticking in there, with some softened earthy, forest-floor hops keeping things mostly in check.
The bubbles are actually rather supportive and surprisingly sprightly, after that anemic introduction, the body a lower-percentile medium weight, and generally smooth. It finishes moderately off-dry, the consistent maltiness not all that sweet to begin with, and the edgy, leafy hops far from giving up the ghost.
A pretty decent amber ale, one which strongly resembles a nice American brown ale, all nutty and hoppy as it is. Whatever is it academically, practically, I wouldn't mind having another few on the deck, as summer shifts into third gear.

Sweet maltiness. Reminds me of being tickled by a pirate.
One time on my birthday, I was playing left field in one of those pre-little league leagues. We were taking some fielding practice before the game, and I took a nasty hop to the face. I sat out the whole game until the last inning, when the coach put me in to pitch. I gave up a hit, hit a guy, and then got out of it. That's what this beer is like.

Picked up as part of a random Montana brewers 6-mixer at a store in Whitefish
A - clear burnt orange, thumb of off white head retained at a consistent thin covering with healthy lacing
S - big malty aromas of molasses, cherry, and a woody earthy quality
T - malt flavour much like the nose with a prominent cedar woodiness along with light grassy hops and a buttery finish
M - medium body, lowish carbonation, sticky finish
O - a quality amber with a cedar character that gives it something unique

Poured from 12oz bottle to pint gladd. Beer has a very attractive dark color with a thin foamy head. Very little lacing on glass. Beer smells like a typical amber. Tastes like one too, which is in no way a bad thing. Overall a very solid beer, but nothing sets it apart from the crowd.

Appearance: orange in color with a big 2" head that lasts a while. Nice lace paints the glass.
Smell: light caramel and fruit sweetness are all you can detect.
Taste: big caramel, dark fruit sweetness, and a moderate bitterness create a nicely flavored amber ale.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Lightly crisp throughout. Aftertaste is short.
Overall: a very easy drinking sessionable beer. Nice flavors, not overwhelming at all.

The beer was a nice clean amber-red color, poured with an off white head that soon fell back into the glass.
The beer smelled sweet, of caramel malt, and of toaster biscuit. It was certainly lacking some hop aroma for an amber ale.
The body was medium and the taste was mostly of caramel, the beer was lacking in a hop aftertaste.
Overall the beer could have used some hops, both in the nose and in the finish. It would have also helped to balance out the sweetness. That being said it was a refreshing beer.

Pour: Pours a clear reddish-copper color. One finger of white head that dissipated quickly and left no lacing to speak of.
Smell: Nothing here to really speak of. Seriously. A deep whiff reveals a biscuity malt aroma. Other than that there's really nothing going on.
Taste: Well, what's there is pretty good, but overall it's pretty bland. Flavors of caramel and brown sugar primarily. Light citrus hop zing in the back.
Mouthfeel: Medium in body and sort of flat.
Drinkability/Overall: What flavor it does have is good, there's just not much. Drinks easily but lacks any factor that makes you excited to take the next sip.
Final Notes: This is a "get trashed" kind of beer. Not overly expensive and not all that great. Nothing offensive, bu lacks character. I won't be buying it again.
