Spent a few hours at Tyler's before the ballgame on Friday. The atmosphere is renovated industrial--really tall ceilings, wood panelling, exposed brick, and with a great outdoor seating area. There is a dining room, and the "speakeasy" which is just a bar area. All taps available on both sides. The speakeasy had a bunch of pool tables, a few foozball tables, some nice seating areas with leather couches, a couple of tvs, small standing only mini bars and a few scattered tables. The outdoor area looks out on a nice lawn with a designed stream running through it. Once I got up to the bar, the atmosphere was forgotten. Over 40 taps! I had lloked at the menu online before heading over, so I was mostly prepared. I was really impressed with their rotating selection. There were local breweries featured right alongside the more popular craft beers. The staff seemed knowledgable and very professional. One let my friend sample 4 beers and gave suggestions of similiar beers when he told her a few he enjoyed. Each beer was served in a glass from the brewery as mentioned by other reviewers, with the exceptions (some of the small local breweries which I assume do not have their own glassware) served in house pint glasses. Even though this place is about 25 minutes from me, I look forward to spending a night there about once a month. It was a great experience all around.

This is my favorite place to go for beer. Most of the beer they serve is on tap, and the selection is outstanding. Plenty of local beer, lots of rotating taps, and occasional cask events. I always see new stuff here. I have seen bars with a bigger selection, but this beer menu is very well selected. That deserves extra points. Tap lines seem to be clean, and proper glassware is used. The service is outstanding. On my last trip, my server had several tables and still took time to talk beer with me. I found him to have BA level knowledge of his products. The food is pretty damn good - DO NOT pass up the garlic fries. I only gave the food a 4 because I would only give a 5 to the best food I have ever had. You won't be disappointed though no matter what you pick.

As was stated, Tyler's is not adjacent to the ballpark, it is on the other side of an inner courtyard. There is a visible parking deck beside Tyler's so you could park there and walk right in no matter the weather.

Tylers is old warehouse space and I liked the vibe. Clean, fresh and industrial. The taps are well chosen and well laid out. Skip the beer menu in the book, it was so out of date that it did not appear that any beers were still on tap. The quality of the beers was very high as was everything. Every beer was served in a logo glass from the brewery of origin.

Our service was spot on. I'm not sure the what the waitresses name was, but she did a magnificent job. We were talking to some friends at an adjacent table and when walked around our conversation to bus tables and refill glasses or to take orders for another round.

Tyler's and the next door Speakeasy share 40 taps and then each bar has 10 taps that are all their own for a total of 60 taps. At the time of our visit the Tyler's side was a bit Avery heavy with about 6 taps. They had several Rogue as well, two XS and a John's Locker for sure. The Speakeasy was already too smoky for me at 5 pm to check out the drafts. For that reason, the average of the two joints for atmosphere is a 4.0. Tyler's gets a 5, the smoky Speakeasy earns a 3.

The food was very good. I had a soup of the day and the meatloaf. The soup was sausage, beer and white beans and extremely tasty. The meatloaf was two huge slabs. It was tough to eat it all. The other person in my party had the fish tacos. Everything was very, very good.

I'll go back, great food, great beer, great service and at least 1/2 the place has a great atmosphere.

quality- Food and beer was top notch

service- well our service was perfect and it looked like an efficeint bar overall

selection- Gosh they had like 80 plus on tap with no american macros at all.

food- we didn't eat much there but it looked great and the menu was creative.

Me and a friend visited Tyler's on a recent weekend beer tour in the area.

We hit Tyler's around 1pm and stayed for several brews. I ordered the nachos and they were very good!! Our bartender (I wish I remembered her name) was great!! Very knowledgeable on her beers and was more than happy to provide free samples.

I really wish we could have a Tylers in Charlotte, it's the first bar I have ever visited that I received the beer I ordered in the glass made by the brewer.

Loved it and can't wait to go back.
