Seasonal beer from Sierra Madre Brewing Co.

Pours a copper-brown color, Nice head and very nice lacing throughout the drink, Smell of malts and caramel, Nice sweet caramel-malt taste, Nice carbonation. Very drinkable brew.
I enjoyed this very much. Highly recommend.

Aromatic, full bodied and carbolic smell, like crushed hops; taste wide, malted, hard and clean, little malt flower; this is under Nochebuena in my average but is good; its color like the most of the seasonals, deep too; beer of high fermentation, i think seriously about try this with american food, but is for another time; i try with the BA´s of Monterrey in the Posada Navideñadel 2005, and the next review i try with various food of this micro; on tap in a pint glass; 78% recomended:

Guilty as charged...
I do admit being biased here. This is my local brewpub after all.
My only point of defense is that I am not pimping here since I'm not in their payroll, these guys are not friends of mine; actually I don't even know who they are and they don't know who I am. So they don't foot my bills.

Beautiful copper reddish ale, small to no head and just a bit of a lacing.

Smell at first is unnoticible because one rule of thumb at this place is that you have to insist that your glass isn't frosted. After your beer has some rest and gains a bit of warm you can smell it's maltiness and yeast.

Taste is really good, warm, of noble hops and alcohol is present but not overwhelming. By no means this beer is 6% ABV. It has to be at least 6.5% to 7%.
(Right here I guess that they state that this ale is 6% ABV out of fiscal reasons. See, here in México there is a 6% ABV tap for a beer to be considered a beer. Anything higher has to pay a different tax.

Mouthfeel is also malty, with a dry and mildly hoppy bitter finish.

It's drinkability is pretty dangerous since you can have several pints until you notice it's effects. Nonetheless, I wait for this ale a year long since it's a Christmas special, as it's name implies: Navidad.

¡Salud!
