Pours an orangeish copper color with very minimal head which disappears in the blink of an eye. Lace? You must be joking!

Smells mildly of sweet malts and yeast. Really hard to sense much else. Taste is watery and boring: starts somewhat malty, finishes with a mild hoppy bitterness that lingers after you swallow. Still watery, though.

Medium bodied and creamy, lots of carbonation too. Mouthfeel is this brew's saving grace. There are many better Oktoberfest beers on the market I'd suggest before this one.

About a year and a half old.

Pours a slightly hazy golden brown with a huge 2 inch frothy pillow-like cream head that dissipates slowly, leaving very thick lacing.

There's a skunky character in the initial aroma. Becomes grainy and metallic, with subtle toasted caramel malt beneath. To avoid the aged character, I smelled the bottle. Fairly nutty, with slight brown sugar sweetness.

Flavor reveals substantial, slightly over-toasted, bready malt character, but it's dominated by sherry-like notes of oxidation and a metallic finish. Nutty flavors emerge late, followed by dryness and a bit of soap.

Body is moderate, but fairly high carbonation lightens it a bit. There's a touch of astringency at the finish.

Probably past its prime, so my score ignores the off flavors. Not a bad beer, but nothing spectacular. Malt character lacked a bit.

A: Pours a relatively clear dark golden yellow to amber in color with some moderate amounts of visible carbonation. The beer has a finger tall dense foamy off-white head that reduces to a thin film covering the majority of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Light aromas of malts with hints of caramel and toffee with some very light notes of earthy hops.

T: Moderate flavors of caramel, bready, and toasted malts with light hints of caramel and toffee sweetness. There is a light amount of earthy hop flavors but almost no bitterness is discernable.

M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Relatively smooth.

O: Easy to drink and enjoyable - sessionable due to the low ABV and smooth mouthfeel.

Bright Orange color beer, not much of a head.
Mild aroma.
Sweet and malty with almost no bitterness.
Very smooth. Creamy mouthfeel.
Extremely easy to drink.

This is a beer that just anyone would like. It is mild, but has good flavor.
Worth repeating how easy drinking this beer is.

An interesting take on an Oktoberfest. A little different because this one is an Ale.
Worth checking out!

A: The beer is clear yellowish amber in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high dense off white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and lots of rings of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: There are very light aromas of malts in the nose.
T: The taste is malty like the smell but has slightly stronger flavors of bready, caramel and toasted malts along with some hints of earthy hops. There is a slight amount of malty sweetness; no bitterness is detectable.
M: It feels medium-bodied and very smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: Even though this beer is quite malty, it is still easy to drink and has nice smoothness in the mouthfeel.
