Purchased in May 2011 in Michigan City, IN. Cork was in good condition, much sediment in the bottom. The pour was highly carbonated, but fizzled out. Color was nice, a golden-caramel with an off-white head that held 1/4" for the duration. Faint sour smell, like a farm house ale or a lambic.

The initial taste had a slight grain quality to it but was immediately overpowered by a decidedly nasty sourness that made my mouth and cheeks pucker: old, mildly-sweetened lemonade; crab apple; vinegar.

Perhaps a bad batch?

Brown color with an off-white head.The smell is that of a Belgian sour ale (sour cherry). Which wouldn't be bad if it weren't described as a dark wheat with notes of caramel and spice. There is also a soured cardboard aspect to it. I'm not sure how often they make this, or how long it was on the shelf, but I would avoid it at all cost.
