I was surprised that we could find great parking right on the street considering how close they are to the shore and other stores.
A: It is a pretty cramped place, but it looks good and has a second floor where you can see the small distillery through a glass panelling. They sometimes do live music. The place is a bit dark though, especially the bar area.
Q: Most of their food ingredients are very local and they even offer ANTELOPE sliders. The beer is super fresh and the brew spirits on site, which you can try in a sampler. Their beer sampler is 5 beer samples (3 oz.?) for $7.50 each. We got two, which were all brewpub exclusives except for 61 and Aprihop. The food was good and had big portions.
S: Like any popular restaurant, this place's seating varies depending on the weather and the time. We had to wait twenty minutes, but while you wait you can browse and shop at the tiny outside shop that sells the spirits, growlers, and other stuff like back at the brewery. The place was pretty busy and our service was ok, but it seemed to take forever to get our two samplers.
S: The selection here is great, but shouldn't be a surprise at all. However, the amount and availability of brewpub exclusives is always in flux and you should check the website beforehand to check what is on tap. But by the time you get there stuff can still kick and I missed out on the exclusive my Brewery tour guide told me to try. Their selection is the year-round stuff, seasonals (including 750mL stuff on tap, that goes by release times), a vintage cooler, and their own spirits.

The brewpub in Rehoboth is a stone's throw from the beach-front, and it seems that the weather plays a role in how busy the place is. First visit was on a cold rainy day and it was quiet. Second was during the summer on a beautiful night and it was slammed, but we were still able to find a seat at the bar. I visited the brewpub twice and both times was not disappointed either time. Always great "brewpub-only" offerings available in addition to the excellent standards. Service always was very good, and food was solid as well. If you actually plan ahead, you could easily visit here and do a brewery tour out in Milton, but last time I checked, they required you to book the tour ahead of time. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make it out to the brewery either time, but have heard great things about the tour there.

I just recently went to the Dogfish Head Brewpub in Rehobeth, DE…while the atmosphere and waitress were great…I think I may have made the wrong selection off the menu when it came to food…but I loved the soup though! Crab and corn chowder, yum yum! So I'll give the benefit, and hope the rest is just as good. I'm sure I'll be back to try something else.
They had live music, and an enjoyable crowd of people. I had a couple different brews, but then tried the beer sampler just because! I couldn't get enough of the "I'll brew you, if you brew me"…reminded me of home and being back in the Northwest. Thank you Dogfish! Not only do I already love a ton of your other varieties (Festina Peche, Chicory Stout, Burton Baton, 120 Minute, Bitches Brew, Palo Santo, Birra Etrusca Bronze, and so many more!), but you gave me comfort brew! Haha
This is one of the very best things to experience in the state of Delaware, should you find yourself here…go to the brewery for a day tour in Milton, and hit the Brewpub for dinner in Rehobeth. You won't be sorry…and you know what…if you were around when Wayne and Garth were in Delaware, the would have had "party time."

I've gone to this place several times over the past few years and it's been a positive event every time. My 86-year old father fell in love with the place when we went the first time 2 years ago when he and I (and my designated-driver wife) spent almost 3 hours there trying almost everything they had. Dad's verdict was that Burton Baton was/is ridiculous and I can't really argue that point!
In my experience, the place is loud and gets very crowded around lunch and dinner. We always try to get there around 3:00 or so so we don't have to wait for a table.
They have a great selection of food and nobody in my family has ever been disappointed. Of course, I'm not paying much attention because It's supposed to be about the beer, not the food.
They typically have a great selection of beers on tap; from beers my wife can drink (their Lawnmower) to ones that are over the top (their 120-Minute or World-Wide Stout). Plus, they always have a few experiments going on you can try. Excellent.
They are also the only brew house I've been to that sells their packs and cases for slightly below retail prices and I love that about them. Consequently, I buy and few and leave a very happy man!
I've always had a great time here!

It is important to note that the traffic in this area is terrible. It took 2.5 hours to drive 70 miles. Plan ahead especially if on a weekend in summer.
The place was very busy and set up in a rustic atmosphere. The menu was very complete and the food items I enjoyed we're excellent. There are many beers on draft including some only available there but beware they seem to rub out of the rarer stuff quickly. The flights are inexpensive. The quality is good but as we all know dogfish makes a lot of weird stuff so even if you don't like what you try you are usually glad you tried some of their unique beers. The service was attentive despite how bust they were.
Overall the location is terrible if you are just dropping by for lunch or something. Great if you want to vacation there for some reason and walk to a good restaurant with an excellent beer list.

I have been coming to this place since its inception in 1996. The signature sandwich was the grilled salmon with saga blue cheese, mustard and pickled onions.
Over the years the quality of food has gone south before trending better in the last few years.
But I will come back to the food. The beer is the draw, and you will never find a better place for Dogfish Head beers anywhere. Just go to their website to see what is on tap. Brew Pub exclusives, you basically are their focus group, to secret stashes of aged bottles.
The bar area can get crowded, and so can the restaurant. But anyone who likes Dogfish Head needs to make a pilgrimage here.
Also, on Friday's, they run a beer through Randall, usually 90min. IPA through cascade hops...hmmm

I went here the week before Christmas while staying down the road in Dewey. The street was well decorated for the holidays, although most of the shops in the area were closed for the season. My girlfriend and I stopped in for dinner around 6. It was the offseason so we had no trouble getting a table; in fact the place was only about half full.
The food was very good and much of it was local grown produce and meats/seafood. I had a garden salad with local veggies and the fifth column pizza with crab, asparagus, and tomatoes. It was different but very good. My girlfriend had the ceasar salad and a crab cake sandwich, which was also very good. I appreciated the diverse menu and local flair of most dishes. Some of the entrees were in the $20-30 range but you can easily get a burger or pizza for $10-15.
The real attraction for me was the beer. They have 20+ beers on tap, including all the usual suspects and a few brewery exclusive beers. They also have the 75 minute on cask, which I highly recommend. I appreciate the fact that their website keeps a very well updated draft list in case you are like me and prefer to do a bit of research ahead of time. They also have a small vintage selection of bottles from the past few years, although these are a bit pricey. Their beers are in a $5-7 price range, which is fine for many of the normal beers in pints, but is a bit much for some of the 10 oz. pours they offer. The prices on the beer are comparable to what I usually find at nicer bars, but I would have expected slightly better for the brewpub. It wasn't outrageously priced, by any means. They also offer a sampler of small pours with the price varying based on what you select. Obviously this is the way to go if you are interested in trying several of their beers. They also have a wide variety of liqour distilled in house with a number of specialty cocktails. I didn't try any but, like the beer, some of them sounded like very unique concoctions.
I appreciated the kiosk outside the brewpubs which offered all of their merchandise and bottled beer to go. I picked up a few different pieces of glassware, a tin sign, and a growler, all very reasonably priced.
Overall I enjoyed my experience here. The atmosphere was laid back with a beach feel. The prices were a tad high, but not unreasonable, especially for a vacation beach town. I recommend checking this place out of you enjoy DFH beers and be sure to get the 75 minute on cask!

Went on vacation last summer in Rehoboth. Awesome beach town! We never got in our car until it was time to leave. Anyway, we decided that we would eat lunch every day for the five days that we stayed in town. I did not get sick of that place. The food was very good and I ate different things for lunch each day. They had kid's food so my kids were happy, which made me happy since I could take my time with the brews. They had a few different samplers available. I tried them all while I was there. Not much new, since I've had pretty much all the beers that Dogfish Head makes. It was great to be there and have the beers fresh on tap. I even ordered a Life and Limb bottle to split with the wife. She was disappointed that Sam was not there. Oh well. They even had a little kiosk outside where they sold merchandise and growlers.

Visited Dogfish Head brewings and Eats on the May 24 weekend 2011. Part of the 2011 "beercation"!
It's great that the place still retains some intimacy. We were seated after a bit of a wait, right next to the stage. Our server was spectacular, cute and a lot a fun. Not only did the Manager pick up rounds for asking us to move slightly for the live entertainment, but the food was spectacular.
Best rings I've ever had, and the crab cakes were to die for.
Best of all, the fresh DFH brews were worth the trip and the wait for seats. Had the 120 minute, Noble Rot, Hellhound on my ale, but was disappointed that the Bitches Brew was just tapped out.
Overall a memorable evening (even met a group from Toronto at the table next to us...) and would recommend 100 percent to anyone looking for a brew/gastro adventure...

Really awesome place! What's not to love about a brewpub from your favorite brewery??? Swag out front as you enter (or exit), so be sure to pick up a glass, shirt, opener, etc. You know you want something.
Nice, laid-back atmosphere inside, great decor. We were warmly welcomed and were promptly seated at the windows up front. Our server was friendly, and fairly attentive.
Excellent beer, of course! I chose the 120, since I'd never had it on tap. Damn, was it awesome!!! I had a salad with grilled tuna, and it was outstanding, as was my brother's pepperoni pizza!
Excellent atmosphere, food, BEER, and service. I probably won't ever get a chance to go back, but I'd sure love to!
