this beer pours a translucent brownish red with a tan head that recedesquickly. the aroma brings a lot of dark malt to the party with suggestions of caramel and coffee that come through nicely in the flavor. the 7.5% adds a nice warmth to the finish, a full body and adequate co2 were enough to convince me to get a growler.
