A few years ago I took a brewing course. We had to do a project on a beer topic of our choice. I opted to do a short film and picked a brewery near by school - Town Hall. The staff was so nice and friendly. The beer is made in a pristine location, that stays immaculately clean surprisingly.

I went the following week for dinner and their wait staff is lovely, friendly, personable, and knowledgable. If you have a question about food or a drink they are more than welcome to tell you what would suit your palette. And the food and beer are amazing. I am a huge fan of their house pretzels and the Maslala Mama. Overall my experience at Town Hall Brewery is always a good one.

My wife and I are Town Hall regulars. We love the service (but I admit, we know all of the servers and bartenders because we are there so often).

Food is very good bar food and reasonable prices.

Beer is ranges from very good to fantastic. Always something new and interesting plus their regular beers are very good.

If you sit at the bar you can nearly always strike up a conversation and meet some very interesting people.

Finally, in the summer a great patio is the perfect place to enjoy a wonderful fruit infusion beer (one of their specialities!)

My wife took me to Town Hall on a busy Saturday night for my birthday. It took longer than expected to be acknowledged by a server or hostess. I was getting close to leaving (after almost ten minutes of standing at the "Please wait to be seated" sign) when someone finally told us she would be right with us. It took a few more minutes until we were seated.

The server came by almost immediately to get our drinks. From that point on, the service was amazing! The food was great. My wife had the mango chicken sandwich and I had the walleye sandwich. We had BBQ chicken wings to start off. The beer was the real gem here, though. I was disappointed that the vanilla porter ran out about a half hour before we got there, but was pleased with the Masala Mama and the Hope and King.

The price point was perfect. For an appetizer, two entrees, a flight of five beers, and two pints, we got out with a total cost (including tip) of less than $50.

I would love to try this again, especially when Czar Jack, Mango Mama, or Three-Hour Tour are being served!

What an inviting place with high, punched-tin ceilings and an L-shaged bar in the front. There's another bar and dining room in the rear next to the glassed-in brewing equipment.

The bartender was friendly, informative and the right amount of attentive. I ate at the bar and had the pulled pork sandwich with fries. Both were delicious and very reasonably priced. A good pub food menu.

Their own beers range from world-class to very good and there are some good beers from other brewers.

If you are spending the night, there's a convenient Holiday Inn and a parking garage right next door.

Visited 10/22/11 after Darkness Day

This has become an annual stop for me and my friends for post Darkness lunch. Quality establishment and well worth the trip.

Atmosphere is relaxed, it has never really been crowded when I've been there. Cool old building, well lit, kinda grungy bathrooms though.

Quality of the beer is outstanding, I tried lots of styles, all good. Masala Mama does NOT disappoint.

Service was prompt and friendly every time I have been. All the servers are well versed with the beer selection.

Food is pretty good. I've had several of their sandwiches, all good.

Pretty cheap compared to comparable brewpubs in my area.

This is a must stop if you are in the MPLS area.

The place is a beautiful building. Not sure about this part of town, but it looks nice and I'm a sucker for old brick buildings. Screw the breweries in warehouses.

The service is excellent and attentive if not that knowledgeable about the beer. They did have some nice pointers, and that's far better than most.

Selection isn't huge, but it's awesome. They must do some trades to get a few of the one-offs they get from other breweries. How did they get a keg of Deschutes here? Also, all their beers are amazing.

Food was pretty good - I had the fish and chips, and it was the best fish and chips I've ever had.

Value is excellent - you can get 5-5 oz sample glasses of their year round brews for $7, or 5-5oz samples of their seasonals and special brews for $9. Awesome. Food is reasonable, too.

A- Atmosphere has an old timey feel. Lots of old black and white photographs, chalkboards with current beers listed. A couple tvs for watching the football on.
Q- Good beers, taste fresh, served in clean glassware.
Ser- The service seems dependant on who you get. Some people, including a young fella seem eager. Others are quick, but don't seem all that friendly.
Sel- About 8 of their beers on tap, about five guest taps and a small bottle collection.
F- The Seven Corners Burger is recommendable. The french fries are forgetable.
A great place to get a beer. Definitely a place to go to get a pint.

Stopped by Town Hall while in Minneapolis for Darkness day, no way I was not going to try their beer. Not as big as I was expecting but it has a very low key atmosphere and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The beer selection was awesome with year-rounds and seasonals, including Mango Mama! Only ordered some pretzels for appetizers and they were fantastic, especially with a hoppy beer. Definitely a place anyone can visit and have a good time, knowledgeable wait/bar staff, and try to get their early as it gets full quick.

Came here on the way home from St. Paul, MN and stayed and visited the BrewPub since the owners were enjoyed the Vikings game as I reviewed some of my beer. Being in the 7 Corners (West Bank) area, this place had a cool painting of their bar from the outside. Here goes my review...

Awesome Boston style in the inside and homely. When you walk in, the bar is on your right with tables and viewing of Cedar Ave and then you can go into a back room where there are dart boards, a pool table, and then a display of their micro-brewery. One thing I noticed from being in here, everything was awesome but the restrooms needed work BIG TIME! Weird too... Thought that the place was very vintage but they need to invest in re-modeling and cleaning these up...

Service was fantastic! Help from both the owners and staff the entire day! Everyone on staff really made me feel like a part of the place and made it a comfortable time.

Selection was without a doubt, one of the top I've seen from a BrewPub! 10 of theirs was available plus two cask offerings. They also had an impressive Guest Tap lists for both beer and ciders.

Enjoyed 7 of their brews and then had their Bleu Burger w/ Bacon & Sweet Potato Fries on the side. This place should enter this into a Burger Contest! That good.

I came here specifically to enjoy the Mango Mama but they just got rid of it on Thursday... Their selection still kept me around and I'm glad I did. Come check this place out! One of my top 10 places now because of the environment, selection, and awesome service!

I've been to Town Hall a half dozen times, and have never left unsatisfied. The food is good (goat cheese nachos with chicken, anyone?), the beer is better (Masala Mama is the main draw on most nights), and the atmosphere is as good as just about anywhere I've been. The guest taps are normally respectable, but there's often little need to stray away from Town Hall's own creations. Try a few, and you'll realize that these guys obviously know what they're doing.

I hope they keep it up for a LONG time, because although I don't spend too many evenings at the bar anymore, this is one of my top choices when I do go out for drinks.
