pint on tap at the brewery
pours a dark brown , only slightly translucent. smell is light malted barley, cocoa powder, touch of hops. taste is divine: sweet cocoa, rolling roasty malts, marshmallow, toffee, chocolate. not overly sweet either
top milk stout for sure

Growler filled 11/9 (approaching almost a month) and split 5 ways. Poured into HF "Fest" wine glass. Thanks BJ for the nice surprise.
A- Pours an opaque jet black with about a quarter finger of mocha brown head that fizzles away pretty fast (I imagine if the growler was a little bit newer it would have had a little bit better retention) to leave a perfectly still glass that still has some carbonation left.
S- Pleasantly sweet aromas of milk Chocolate, coconut, dark chocolate, toasted marshmellows, and coffee. Fairly aromatic and definitely sweet. If you like the smell of sweets then you will love the nose on this, smells almost like walking into a chocolate shop.
T- Creamy milk chocolate, sweet marshmellows, coconut, dark chocolate that lends a light bitterness on the finish, a little bit of espresso that blends in nicely with the chocolate. Nicely balanced with just the right amount of sweetness and a nice pleasantly sweet lingering aftertaste.
M- Fairly thick, creamy but not too creamy, decent carbonation, very smooth, easy to drink.
O- This was a great milk stout that found the perfect balance between sweetness and creaminess. After being in the growler for almost a month, this beer held up fairly well in every aspect except the retention of the head and a slight loss of carbonation but other then that it tasted and smelled fantastic. I would love to drink this beer and I would highly recommend it especially if you like sweet milk chocolate that isn't too rich.

Another big thanks to Steasy66, cheers man!
Appearance. Pours a deep, dark brown ...as close to black as brown can be with almost no light ocming through at the edges. Capped with a finger of espresso foam coloured head that doesn't last very long.
Smell. Plenty of sweet coconut, some dark chocolate and light and creamy-sweet coffee, and maybe a little vanilla and toasted wood.
Taste. Whoa, a ton of roasted fresh coconut, a bit of dark chocolateroasted malt, coffee and vanilla, but that fresh toasty coconut almost drown it all out. This is not a bad thing. The more I drink, the more I dig it.
Mouthfeel. This is the highlight for me. Medium body, but with an oily feel that goes well with the toasted coconut. There's a medium amout of ultra-smoooth carbonation. Just awesome stuff.
Overall. Uniques and absolutely delicious. Probably the best feel I've come across, and that coconut, fantastic. Thanks again Ryan!!!

Pours a dark brown with a thick mocha collar and small cap. Leaves a little lacing on the side.
Faint whiffs of sweet coconut. Roastiness.
Roast up front then gives way to the coconut aspect. I feel like the coconut doesn't fully come through after the after taste and even a little longer than that.
Pretty dang smooth. Pricklier carbonation than I would have guessed going in.
Perhaps my favorite part about Three Hour Tour is how the roast feels like it melts away into a coconut taste. Worth tracking down. Thanks for shipping Gord!

Big thanks goes out to caSSino for sharing this one during the One Year Anniversary of My Wreck Tasting and to MBrausen for sending it to him! Served from growler into a Crooked Stave ‘Crooked Line’ tulip. Poured pitch black with a one finger tan head that subsided to a minimal amount very quickly. Maintained excellent lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, roasted malt, coconut, and cream. The flavor was of sweet malt, milk, cream, coconut, subtle roasted malt, and bread. It had a light feel on the palate with medium-high carbonation. Overall this was a fairly great brew. As stated in a few other reviews including aasher who was drinking off the same growler, think Mounds. That pretty much nails the aroma almost exactly. The flavor was very nice as well with a very nice sweetness aspect going on. Loads of coconut going on in both areas. Wish it would have been a little thicker on the mouthfeel to take it up another notch. Very well done brew that I would suggest to any craft beer veteran or n00bie alike.
