Draft. Enjoyed at Town Hall on a sunny Saturday morn. $4.75/pint. Pours a clear medium dark copper amber color with a slight white head. Very floral and fragrant aroma. The lavender really sticks out. Medium mouthfeel. Sweet start with a mix of the lavender and lots of orange flavor as well. Very easy drinking, the 7.3 doesn’t really show up all that much. The lavender lingers on for a while. Overall, pretty nice.

Served with a half finger of white head that fades down quickly. Color is a clear copper orange.
Aroma: Lots of floral (lavender) flavors and sweet honey. Almost braggot like. I get a fruity flavor that I am guessing is the dates. Strong nose. Grapes/wine flavors.
Taste: A huge herbal flavors. Floral and grassy. Lavender. Honey again. Not as fruity here, but it ends with the dates. A lot going on here.
Mouthfeel: Clean, bubbly, and smooth. Medium bodied with a medium to high amount of carbonation. Ends sticky.
Overall, not my favorite summer beer as it is a bit too strong. Couldn't drink too much of this. Very unique.

On-tap at the brewpub.
A: Clear amber body with a thin layer of fine white bubbles that quickly melt into a patchy ring. A little underwhelming.
S: Spicy, floral, and intense. Tons of lavender, and a bit of sunscreen. Huh. Still, pretty good.
T: Lavender opens things up big time, followed by some nice date sweetness and a very dry, long finish. There's still a bit of sunscreen (maybe from the dates?) but overall it's very, very tasty.
M: Full, highly carbonated body. Nice.
O: Crazy beer - I'm not entirely sure that everything fell into place like it was supposed to, but I'm totally convinced that it was something worth experiencing. Maybe I'll have a tasty flashback someday...
Cheers!

Pours amber in color with a head that dissipates rather quickly. Smell has loads of lavender and sweet perfumes with accents of lemon. Taste is like drinking potpourri, which sounds bad but tastes awesome. The palate is bombarded by lavender and herbs. Under rather this, there is a bit of sweet fruit from the dates and some lemony honey. Really odd combo, bit tastes delicious. I would order this again but there are too many beers and too little time. Recommended as it is very unique.

Poured on tap into a pint glass.
A- Burnt orange bronze color, ½ to one finger off white head, nice lacing and retention, nice carbonation.
S- This is a very unique smelling beer, lavender upfront floral notes (sunflower).
T- The taste is also very unique, very floral, that lavender taste is what really makes this beer weird for me, slight honey flavor comes out, really soapy tasting, there’s a malt presence as well.
M- Medium mouthfeel, unusual aftertaste from the lavender.
O- This beer is not bad but not the best offering from Town Hall, the lavender and floral notes were definitely present, glad to try it once.

I'm usually very good about logging reviews immediately, but when it comes to Town Hall they change their beers so often that I fall behind. Here is my backlog of napkin reviews stuffed in the back of my desk drawer.
No date, best guess is early October.
Cloudy and copper in color, white head with decent enough retention and light lacing. 4.0
Floral (lavendar), sweet (honey), and dark fruits (dates). 3.5
Starts very floral, with bready malts and a juicy fruitiness. 4.0
Mouthfeel is heavier than expected. 3.5
Drinkability is good. Very interesting and unique. 3.5
Overall, a unique beer, would gladly have again.

Hazy copper hue, standard beige head o' foam.
Aroma is absolutely unheard of...floral, herbal, sweet, and singing. The loveliness of lavender and honey (sunflower honey, no less) kept in check with the depth of dates. That's got to be it. It's gorgeous. Sublime.
Now, to drink,...soft and supple. Lean-bodied, but with a strong flavor and a lasting finish. Lean texture, too, but the combinant flavors are so well integrated and make such a beautiful blend, it's a darned near perfect mix.
While this is sweet, delicious, super-tasty, yum, yum...I'm missing my hops.

Lavender, sunflower honey and dates oh my. Sounded extremely interesting so I had to try on this beautiful Saturday morning while watching Indiana stick it to Michigan. Drank from a regular ol' pint glass.
Appearance- Pours a light orangish yellow with a decent one finger bright white head. A fairly nice cap and collar remain leaving a small bit of random lacing.
Smell- Very floral as the lavender dominates the nose. Bready malts with a bit of clean earthy honey. The nose is simply and nice but that lavender runs the show. It almost has a Glade® Plug-In flowery scent.
Taste- Starts a bit flowery (floral) from the lavender and or honey before a light bit of residual honey dryness steps in. It's clean and very nice with an almost orange blossom little twang. The dates step in toward the finish along with a slight bit of caramel but I don't get a lot. It almost has a cinnamon like spiciness with a touch of raisin. Interesting stuff.
Mouthfeel- Unexpectantly big with a nice chewy fullness and fairly light bit of carbonation.
Drinkability- Wow super interesting and very good. I usually don't like honey in my brews but this works pretty darned well. The lavender is another leaf away from being too strong but it's not at this point and it carries the beer. The dates are honestly an afterthought but that just may be from the lavender. Super tasty, super interesting. Fun stuff.
