16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 6/12/2020. Pours opaquely hazy ruby red color with a 1 finger dense and rocky light pink head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas and flavors of big ruby red raspberries, fruit skin/seeds, peach, pear, apricot, red apple, wheat, cracker, biscuit, light toast, herbal, floral, wood, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal, floral, woody, grassy, bitterness; and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of raspberries, fruit skin/seeds, peach, pear, apricot, red apple, wheat, cracker, biscuit, light toast, herbal, floral, wood, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of raspberries, fruity yeast, pale/wheat malts, and light earthy hops; with a great malt/bitter/tartness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitter/tart/tangy flavors. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, and lightly sticky/acidic/tangy mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.7%. Overall this is an excellent fruit wheat. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of raspberries, fruity yeast, pale/wheat malts, and light earthy hops; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish; great soft/silky wheat feel. Great balance of juicy/jammy raspberries, fruity yeast, and clean pale/wheat malt flavors; with solid earthy hop presence. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive style example. No complaints.
