On tap at Busy Bee
A - cloudy orange with a big, soft, thick, white head that has great retention
S - grapefruit, a bit floral
T - bread, faint sweet malt, dark bread like pumpernickel, huge grapefruit, faint bitter finish, some pine
M - medium to full bodied, well carbonated
This is a really nice DIPA. The hop presence has great character and it has an all around good drinkability. My only complaint is that there is a dark bread component that I think is at odds with the rest of the flavor profile. Other than that this is a really good, highly drinkable, clean DIPA that is worth checking out.

I easily achieve three fingers of thick fluffy off white head with a generous pour. This head has very nice staying power, fading slowly and leaving waves of fat choppy lace. Body is an attractive amber gold tone. Nose is soft but pleasurable with citrus rind based hoppy goodness. Some slight piney woodsy feel in the background as well. The bitterness shocks the tongue with first sip. The body of this beer is a raw array of vegetable forward hops. Fresh cut grass, celery, cabbage, and wet pine come to mind. Leaves a odd bitter hue on the back of the tongue. Its not all that bad but it seems the malts may be interacting weirdly with the hops in terms of balance on this one. I really wanted to love this one. Overall it is just OK for me.
