Had on-tap at the brewery.
Had a nice "cola" color and a dark-white creamy head. The coffee and dark chocolate came through nicely with this one and lives up to the style very well. This, along with the Wild Irish Red, were probably my two favorite beers from these guys, if I have to pick. Had a slight bitterness and was very smooth. Had 30 IBU.

This poured out as a dark brown color with a foamy tan colored head on top. The smell of the beer had some roasted aromas as well as some hints of chocolate in there too. The taste of the beer is earthy with a decent amount of charcoal-like flavors. The mouthfeel is lighter bodied and has a dryness to it. Overall it's a decent porter. I enjoy the peanut butter one much more.

The Gutterpup from Willoughby Brewing is a very good porter. The beer poured a nearly opaque deep brownish amber with good off white head that laced. The smell included roast, earth, and a touch of coffee. The taste followed the smell and was quite good. The mouthfeel was medium in body with smooth carbonation. Overall a very good porter.

translucent brown, looks like a nut brown. light foamy head that fades back quickly and hangs around the edges. Smell is dominant coffee, mild roasted malt scent. Mild sweetness from the malts, but quickly shifts to a bitterness from the coffee and hop. not much in the way of flavor. Fades at the tail from lack of body and malt presence. no real backbone to it, but a very solid coffee profile. Light bodied, but chewy from the carbonation. tastes like coffee, feels like coffee...interesting. overall, the weakest in the flight...nice flavor but doesn't last long and then it fades off considerably.

Received in a recent trade. C'mon, like anyone out there doesn't want to try a beer called Peanut butter cup. It almost sets itself up for failure unless it can deliver.
A- Very dark, little to no light. Little lacing, not much head at all. Hard to tell if that's because of the growler.
S- Coffee. No notes of chocolate, vanilla, anything else, just coffee.
T- Yep, you guessed it...coffee, mixed with some espresso and maybe some mochachino. As it warms it really starts to reveal some more coffee. The subtle notes of coffee give way to more coffee flavor.
M- Kinda thin and coffee-like for a porter.
O- Pretty good coffee, add some creamer and sweetener and it's not bad. As a beer it falls somewhat short.

Served on tap into a shaker glass at the brewpub
A- Poured a dark brown, almost black, with a one finger frothy off-white head.
S- Roasty black coffee and bitter chocolate
T- Very roasty, nice bitter black coffee notes, and bittersweet chocolate
M- Goes down smooth with a slightly watery finish. Not quite as creamy as I would like for a porter.
O- A really nice porter that tastes a lot like their Peanut Butter Cup Coffee Porter minus the peanut butter. Overall nice porter with big roasty notes.

Smooth, cream, off white head, roasty, malty, delicious! Everything that a porter should be. I was told this is also the base for their Peanut Butter Coffee Porter (another favorite of mine). This is a creeper. So nice & creamy, great mouth & flavor, but the ABV can catch up quick.
