Larry's "like" to what he helped brew at Stone, Peachy dark with a minimal crown, no aroma. IBU 70. Unfiltered. Medium plus mouthfeel, carbonation above average but not as overcarbonated as most of their lineup. Quite drinkable, but not much of a resemblance to Arrogant B, a 1.5x IPA.

Serving in a pint glass at the Willoughby Brewing brew pub.
The beer is advertised as H2A (homage to arrogance), as one of WBC's brewer's has worked at Stone Brewery from time to time. This is, in my estimation, a 'knock-off' of Arrogant Bastard ... but not quite.
The brew is a deep copper color, with a thin head on top. I would like to have seen more head, but this is up to the WBC personnel when they deliver the beer. Some lacing is evident on the sides of the glass, and the brew is clearly filtered ... no turbidity.
Nose is light, but hop dominant. Piney and resiny hops dominate, with a hint of a caramel backbone behind.
Taste follows the nose pretty closely. The 71 IBU's are dominant, but not over done. Malt balance (caramel in nature) is a little light, but since they advertise this as a cross between an IPA and a Strong Ale, I guess I have no justification to deduct in score for malt balance. If you are familiar with Stone's Arrogant Bastard, then add a touch more hops and a tad less body, and you'll have a good estimation of H2A. Mouthfeel is medium-full, and drinkability is high. The 8% ABV is not noticable, so this could be a deceptive beer ... enjoy responsibly.
An enjoyable beer that can be quaffed quite easily. Hard to categorize it as either an IPA or Strong Ale, but I'd lean towards the latter. Definitely a beer to try, if it is available when you visit WBC. I paired mine with a "mashed potato pizza", a house specialty.
Cheers
Edit: Note that the beer name is "H2A" (not H2H as I originally typed right after returning from the brewpub!)
