Caramel brown color.
Lots of sweetness. The wine barrels taste more like port. Butterscotch, raisins, molasses, oak, vanilla, toffee, dried cherries, light bourbon, and caramel. Some Belgian spice notes.
The bourbon and wine flavors blend really well with this beer. Everything is smooth and rounded out. Very complex.

A real highlight of the bourbon barrel. This Belgian has enough body to stand up to the barrel. A nice balance of bourbon, oak, caramelized brown sugar, and loads of dried fruit like figs, raisins, and cherries. Really delicious dessert beer.
