This is place is fine, nice, and clean but it is a bit pricey for the lackluster selection. I'm mainly talking about beer here but Michael's is 2 seconds a way and has better beer and better prices. The staff are usually a bit cold as well.
I used to come here a lot but now I just go to Michael's. This place is a lot more noticeable than Michael's so I'm sure they do a fair amount of business, I just don't know why things are ~1 dollar more at Whitlock Package. Maybe I will give them another shot soon and see if the selection has expanded or anything is a little more reasonable.

Stopped in on my continuing trek through Marietta. I thought this place was not half bad to be honest. See now I am spoiled when I come down here because nearly every place is better then what we have in South Carolina, but this seemed to be a good enough store. Pretty much everything was in the coolers, with a good selection of locals plus some Avery Old Jubilation which I had not seen in a store yet and some good selections from Laguinitas. Staff seemed friendly, and the prices a touch higher then greens but nothing that was too bad. It was good little store, that would probably have a better reputation if it wasnt swallowed up by Michaelss across the street literally. In any other place I would stop in again, but just because of the location will probably be my last trip in.

I stop in once a week to pick up my "staple beers" (Sierra Nevada mostly). Their extended selection isn't great, a handful of Belgians, and a few crafts from Colorado and North Carolina. They have Breckenridge selections, which I haven't found in most liquor stores out here. I could go to Michaels down the street and get everything in one go, but I like the staff, I like the owner, and I'd like to make sure they stay employed. Plus they have it one ice for me already, so if I decide I want a cold Yeti Stout on the double, I can run and and its ready for me.

I don't stop into this place much because:
a) their beer selection is decent but nothing spectacular
b) their prices on most items are a bit higher than normal
c) Michael's is literally less than a quarter mile down the street and beats them in the above mentioned categories.
Most of the beer is in the coolers. In fact if I know I want cold sixers, I will stop off and see what they have. Not that Michael's doesn't have coolers but damn near everything this place offers, it offers up cold. The rest of the beer selection is smallish with the occasional gem here and there. Outside of the usual micros offered in area stores, Belgians are where they tend to distiguish themsleves as far as selection. But still smallish and they tend to move it around the floor from time to time making it difficult to locate. Service has always been fine, cashiers seem to sample quite a bit of beer.
Basically, not enough selection to be my regular.

Whitlock package is located on Whitlock in Marietta just a few blocks further out that Michael's.
The store is very, very clean with no dust to be found anywhere and a nice selection almost exclusively housed in the 14 door cold case that makes up the heart of the store. Many great beers, of course all readily available elsewhere.
The staff was very helpful and friendly and would make this a regular stop if it was somewhere that I came by often. No reason to travel out of the way to stop in, but if in the area give it a whirl.
