I was surprised by the number of beers they have on hand. I have been in liquor stores that did not have such variety. They emphasize craft brews, and especially organic beers. You can get cases, six-packs, variety packs and singletons. Their main emphasis is on wholesome, healthful food, so you do need to look for the beer section - but it is worth finding. I'm confident they have some varieties I have yet to sample. Next time you want to get a health food fix, go here and grab some cold ones to go with your granola and almond milk. ;)

This was a treat, I for some reason love to go in and see the selections inside of grocery stores. Don’t ask me why, I think it is because the selection in the ones up here is just so pitiful I love seeing the good selection to compare it to. This store had a fairly good selection for the area, great for my area though! Some nice Belgians and a good amount of product from Sweetwater, Flying Dog, Avery, Lost Coast, and DFH among others. The prices seemed a little higher then what I had seen at Green’s, but they were still not bad at all considering. Overall this was a really cool place and I would more then likely visit it again if passing by.

This brand new building is a masterpeice. Very clean and shopper friendly. The beer section is well layed out with a large selection of warm beer on display and a big selection available cold. They have a good balance of micro, Belgian, and import beers. The prices are resonable and there cheese section is the largest I've ever seen!
If your hungry when you shop no problem here they have a resturaunt in side and enough samples around the store to keep your hunger at bay. The wine section is modest but has good brands to choose from. Ample parking and check-out was a pleasant experience. Friendly staff and very easy to find.

Like the other reviewers this isn't my first stop by a long shot. However, it is nice to finally be able to pick up a few Belgian beers while grabbing a few items to make dinner. I can actually pair the beer with the meal I'm making at the moment and that's nice. All of the supermarkets that I have ever been to do not have beer savvy employees and I don't expect it. Their pricing is a bit high but for the occasional convenience it's not too bad. All of their beer is located within one cooler, so if you don't want your beer cold at the moment your out of luck.

The Whole Foods Market in Sandy Springs is located at The Exchange at Hammond off Roswell Road just North of the interstate. It is shouting distance from both Jax and Summits Wayside Tavern.

As far as selection, Whole Foods does not have everything under the sun. What it does have is good quality without dust and old bottles and a decent selection. Several Belgians were there, Sweetwater and even some Adventinus Eisbock. At the time of my visit all the beer was in the cold case unless I missed another aisle.

The service was pure Whole Foods...meaning none till you get to the checkout. That is fine, if you cannot read the labels yourself, you probably should not be buying the beer.

I'd go to Whole Foods if in Sandy Springs again. Mainly for quality and because you can get cold beers as well as an ok selection.
