Beer brewed for the Mayan apocolypse...which really let us down. Served in a Franklin's shaker pint glass...so that's fun. I am in general a fan of Franklin's beer but this was a miss for me. It was too spicy, too dry and there was this almost woody / cedar aftertaste to the whole thing that put me off.

Beer is brown and clear almost ruby at the corners with an off white tan head of small bubbles.

Aroma is yeasty, spicy, interesting.

Beer is medium to light in body, dry on the finish, spicy peppers up front with a harsh spicy dry finish and a strong aftertaste. not a repeat.
