On tap at Franklin's.

Pours a moderate caramel color with decent head and lacing. Nose has a good hefty amount of smoke with a bit of bready malt. Flavor is more smoke with less malt. Quite a bit too unbalanced. Medium body and a smokey, dry finish. Decent enough, but not something I'd go back to.

On tap at the brewery, beer is caramel brown, clear, nice carbonation, tan head, no lacing, low retention.

Aroma is quite smoky, a little malt, mostly smoke, smoke is very present.

Beer is medium in body with a nice finish, the whole thing is dominated by smoke. It is mildly malty, mildly sweet, heavy finish, decent beer throughout, too smokey ultimately though. Dominant smoke malt, but a fine little bock.
