Cherry fruit beer pours a red color, with a lasting pink head. There is a strong and sweet cherry like aroma. The taste has a strong kick of cherries, and a hint of sweet light malts. Good full flavor, and not overly sweet, good amount of carbonation as well. Overall a good fruit beer, especially for the cherry lover.

Very red. A little bit of a brown hue, but mostly dark red. Thin cuff of head.

Cherry syrup, cooked cherries, sweet maltiness with a hint of roast, and a hint of nectary apple. Delightful.

Sweet and very cherry. Not the bright tart cherry, but an almost savory stewed cherry or a Cherry Kijafa. Upon the swallow, I can note a lightly refreshing tartness and almost acetic apple-y note. Malts are burly and caramelized. Spare English hops impart a spicy herbal note. Elixiry, in a way, and growingly tart. Hints of vanilla are glanced upon. A knockout.

Soft and supple with an active carbonation on-the-job. Only slightly sticky, and oh-so-drinkable.

Killer fruit beer. Age this sucker on oak and set it out in the European countryside, and you might end up with a decent cherry Flemish ale.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.

Appearance: Dark cherry red in color with a thin pink head comprised of small and large bubbles. No lacing to speak of.

Smell: One hit wonder but it is quite a nice aroma. Very natural cherry aroma. Not much more to say (or smell).

Taste: Another single standout but it is very enjoyable. Strong cherry flavor that tastes very natural which is nice comparable to some of the other fruit beers that steer toward an artificial essence.

Mouthfeel: Highly carbonated with a light to medium body. Feels good, real good.

Overall: A very simple but highly enjoyable fruit beer. Simple but nice to drink.

A - Pours a bright cherry red color with a thin white head. Pleasant to the eye.

S - Cherry and malt notes with a faint tartness, perhaps honey or citric notes.

T - Tastes like a Tootsie Pop, but not so overwhelming; malt and citric flavors are present and quite pleasant.

M - Pleasant carbonation and tartness; you could drink a whole four pack of these and still want some more thanks to the little ABV it has.

Overall, a good fruit beer, tastier than other fruit beers I've had, but still not on the top of my list; would definitely recommend it, and search similar beers because Samuel Smith does not disappoint.
