On tap at Brugge Brasserie
Smell, very spicy nose, with a touch of honey
Taste, pretty sweet. Tastes of honey, orange zest, and a light pepper pull through first. Yeast along with a touch of dough and spice coat the back of the tongue as well.
Overall, a darn good American made Tripel. And at 11% ABV, this one is a masterpiece. Without a doubt, this was my favorite from Brugge Brasserie. Too bad it was my last beer there, as my notes don't do this beer justice.

This was my first and only try of tripel de ripple. The color and flavor reminds me of butterscotch. I couldn't notice the alcohol content in the taste at all. It paired really well with the amazing mussels at Bruge. I had not really tried a tripel before, so trying this beer has made me want to find out more about Tripels and find something that is as good as this one.
Any suggestions from anyone who thinks they know a beer similar to this one that is available nationwide, please let me know!

On-tap at Brugge.
A - Pours yellow, white head, pretty clear, thin collar, wisps.
S - Fruity sweetness, spice, pear, citrus peel. The booze is really well hidden and the sweetness and citrus notes really come together on the nose.
T - Really fruity and sweet, the booze is more present here then on the nose, light spice, yeast is well-integrated and not too much or not to little (as I see from previous batches). Finish is fruity sweetness and light spice.
M - Medium body, good carbonation, smooth, sweet finish.
O - A nice Tripel, but not sure if I would go to this beer all that often with the nice selection of sours that they have. Good to try once in a while, but not a go-to beer for me.

A – A nice translucent golden tan with a slightly yellowed head. A nice creamy lacing is present.
S – Faint odor of toffee and yeast with some slight citrus. Alcohol is very present.
T – Some pear and a bit of toffee and vanilla near the end. Big alcohol, but works with this big bodied beer.
M – Medium bodied brew with a fairly high carbonation. Boozy, but I like it with this brew.
0 – A nice take on a Tripel. Everything at the Brugge exceeded my expectations.

On tap at Brugge Brasserie last weekend. Served in a goblet.
Poured a nice golden color with a good white head and plenty of lacing on the way down. The nose carried nice notes of pear and green apple in addition to light pepper and a bit of alcohol. Fruit throughout. The flavor carried too much booze and not enough of the yeast character, though there were still nice notes of ripe pear. Mouthfeel was medium with good carbonation, though there was far too much of an alcohol character. Pretty good, but too boozy.

a: strong haze in this yellow tripel. wheat look to it. nice head retention with a quarter inch white head. thicker than I'd expect on a swirl...syrupy look to it.
s: light clove aroma, vanilla and toffee in here as well. not strong odors here.
t: nice clove and freshly baked cookie taste to it. Belgian yeast strain definitely used in this one. nutmeg, cinnamon perhaps. variety of spice, but like the nose, they aren't too strong. the yeast takes center stage with a light fruit profile at the end. Apple or pear perhaps.
m: creamy and rich. nice carbonation. coats well and is crisp. good finish on it.
o: flavors and smell could be stronger, but the belgian yeast strain gets to shine here and tastes like a biscotti. very solid tripel but could have used a touch more punch.
