4 pack picked up at Wegman's with my discovery of the goodness of NC Scrimshaw.
12oz bottle poured into weyerbacher tulip glass.
Bottle Graphics: 6/10.

A: Light gold hazy body, a robust head that was quick to run off. Nothing spectacular, more a weak start to a damn fine brew.

S: Super sweet, right to the brain with a big sniff. Lots of candied sugar and sweetened crystallized dried fruits.

T: Tight fruit flavors that creates something of a cotton mouth, I mean this is a good way. The banana and citrus flavors offer up a complex creation that can be savored on each sip.
The nicest touch is the plethora of spices that dance around in the background.

M: Light and fleeting with a dry finishing grasp.

D: Surely holds it own for the style, can proudly put this alongside from the European counterparts. Would I choose it over Duvel? I might, this is a pleasure to drink and for the price, awesome.

Wow! This one blew me away. I was expecting a good ale based on the reviews, but wow! Fruit and honey notes. Strong alcohol at 7.8% and a nice feeling afterward. Belgian Ales are my favorite and I like finding an American beer that is up there with Chimay and Duvel (which are of course, gifts from God).

This one of my favorite beers. Great taste and smooth! I love the flavor! When I first had it, I feel in love with it! I am happy that Publix started to carry it! I have only had in bottles. Even the bar that I discovered this greatness at only severed in bottles. If you are out with some friends, pick this brew up and have a taste!
