Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a snifter.

Golden brown while pouring. About two finger thick excellent head of tan color mainly due to vigorous pouring. Stays really well and for a long time. Persistent. Color inside the glass is almost ruby copper. A lot of red hues. Very clear. A lot of bubbles seen rising up. Decent Belgian laces on the side.

Aroma is only somewhat reminiscent of Belgian yeast and dry fruits. A fruity and malty smell. Some warmth. May be some minor hops. Strength is moderate. A good amount of esters and slight alcohol tinge.

Flavor is a lot more wheat beer or doppelbock like. Strong malts. Fruity. A good amount of alcohol warmth. Finish is semi dry.

Mouth feel is medium to slightly tilting towards full bodied. Slightly high on carbonation and fizzy effervescence. Tingling sensation. Warm and strong.

This is just an ok. It dies not have quite the flavor I was expecting. It is not real bad, just nothing to write special. For the high price I was expecting more, Everything was just average. l will not buy again

Appearance: Mahogany color with some red
Smell- Bready with fruit.

Taste- . Very strong bready malt, with some dark fruit. It is not much balance to it,

Mouthful- mouth was bread taste sticks. It is rather unpleasant.

Overall; It doe not match up with Chimmey . It is just an average beer foir high price.

Appearance: Ruby-brown-maroon..almost purple in a way. Full-bodied. Very unique.

Smell: Plums, raisins, and licorice. Fairly sweet, but some pine as well.

Taste/Mouthfeel: Incredible flavor. Tons of licorice...not a flavor I particularly love, which makes this even more incredible. Thick body, but goes down smoothly with great yeasty carbonation.

Overall Drinkability: I loved this beer. Really surprised it isn't rated higher.
