500 bottle, from Vinmonopolet Vika. Batch #461. Unfiltered and unpasteurised. ABV is 7.5%. Hazy amber colour, large off-white head. Sweetish but nice aroma, ripe fruits, malts and some caramel. The flavour is also fruity and malty, medium sweet, with tolerable hops in the finish. The alcohol is not very well hidden, but that’s okay - after all, this IS a bock. Quite enjoyable.

Nice amber-red color. Good foam, but it does not stay for long.

In the smell one thing stands out - münchener malt. It comes with a promise of bready character and accompanied by some dried fruits.

Taste is first and foremost sweet. Very sweet, as a bock should be. Aromatically kilned malts bring a sweetish bready character, with notes of plums and figs as well. A subtle nutty finish.

Heavy body, low CO2 - spot on for a bock.

A very nice beer. Should go well with sweet desserts, especially chocolatey ones.

The colour is brown-red (35 EBC), the liquid is clear. There is quite a lot of yeast sediment in the bottle. The low warm white head sinks slowly leaving no lacing.

The smell is very malty and sweet. Toffee, dried fruits, some clean bitterness. Hints of plums and ripe red apples. Some alcohol in the background.

The massive taste is loaded with malty sweetness. Some earthy-flowery notes. Bitter hay-ish hoppy flavours. Toffee and fruit-flavoured candy. Quite a lot of malt candy, too. The aftertaste got a smooth mild bitterness, sweet fruity-flowery notes, lots of toffee and some butterscotch. Some wood in the finish.

The carbonation is mild. The mild bubbles are very small. The liquid is sticky, almost thick.

A fine classic bock: The character is very German.

A: Pours beautiful amber with a large but unevey airy/fluffy tan head. Dissipation leaves decent lacings.

S: Rich malt in the smell, bready and sweet. A suttle fruityness lures in the back.

T: Just like dark ryebread. Malt and a healthy sweetness. Dark dried fruits, but also ripe red apples and orange sezt. There's a balanced tone of licourice.

M: Long lovely aftertaste, sweet almost syrupy. Body is smooth and medium to full while carbonation moederate.

O: A nice Bock, with nice malt sweetness and a bready back-bone - a nice example of the style.

The brew is clear amber with a nice deep off-white head that settles slowly and leaves good lacing. Curtains

The smell is much about malt, cereal, grains, bread. Some apple and apricot fruitiness as well.

Starting quite sweet, brown bread with syrup, apples, pears, lemon curd.

Medium carbonation, small bubbles, soft and sticky initially, then a slow dryness.

Not bad, but a bit too much on the sweet side for me.
