A - Clear golden colored beer with a small head. Touch of lace o the sides, not much else.
S - Smells is a bit of butter, some caramel malts. Pretty clean smelling, not bad but nothing really going on other than that.
T - Little bit of hops on the end. Malts are very crisp and clean. Not bad, but boring.
M - Crisp, lighter bodied, softer carbonation.
O - Average beer, nothing else to say. Easy to drink and not really notice.

On tap at the brewpub - Nov 20, 2007. Skunky off-earth, pita-bread, and moldy grain aroma. Smells like the floor. Pours an uninspired red-stained brass. No head and very little carb (on tap? really?). The flavor is of gas station almonds, stale bread, and discount cereal. Hops taste old. Lots of yeast off-notes, esters and gums. Overly sugary. Terrible.

I had this at the brewpub as part of a sampler. This is their signature beer? The beer is really light gold with a this white head...The aroma and taste are both amazingly boring. Totally bland to start lots of skunk on the finish, terrible feel.
This is not a good beer at all, something that should be skipped.

Sample at the brewpub: This beer is a clear gold color with a thin white head the burns off quickly. Stringy lacing. The aroma is mostly hops with a touch of malt. Light-bodied and crisp with a mildly bitter hops flavor. Touches of malt and grain are present too. The finish is short with a lightly grassy and hoppy finish. Pretty standard stuff for this end of the typical brewpub spectrum.

On-tap at the brewpub, this selection pours a mostly translucent yellow gold with some tight effervescent carbonate. The white head recedes leaving slight lace.
The aroma is of sweet honey and some nice yeasty malt. Nothing too impressive, much of what is to be expected from the style.
Very sweet honey and citrus flavor. Mellow flavored malt that manages to still lie heavy on the palate. Some cereal graininess. Well balanced, but possibly a bit too sweet.
Smooth and velvety mouthfeel. Some what heavier texture than expected. Moderate carbonation does not do much to lighten it up. Fairly run-of-the-mill but a solid brew overall.

Bit of head, bit of lace, medium yellow body. Hoppy aroma, thin mouthfeel, present bitterness and hops. Appropriately carbonated. At the brewpub. Nothng special but a basic beer for the average beerdrinker. There is better more interesting in the lineup.

Clear, pale gold with a thin, white head that settled to a ring and left a smattering of spotty lace. Restrained malty aroma with some floral hops and a bit of yeast. Low bitterness with a mild sweet maltiness that quickly fades and allows hop flavour to linger for a short while on its own. Mild fruitiness as well, but this is part of the background. Light, off-dry, and crisp. A solid blonde ale.

A nice offering from Grizzly Peak, my personal favorite brew so far of theirs. A nice golden color presented itself well, with aromas of malt, yeast and some smokey notes. Lower carbonation. Flavor was consistant with the smell, with malt, yeast and grain notes being well represented. Decent mouthfeel was plagued by lack of carbonation, something I found consistant in each beer I have sampled from Grizzly Peak. Nonetheless, this is a good brew, and a well done blonde ale that almost crosses into Trippel territory. Recommended.

Served very warm, it was a little hard to evaluate.
Tangy, grainy and with a full spectrum of fruits and herbs in the background, this has the bronzed hay flavors of pure "beer" beer. The finish is short with perfunctory bitter extracts. More creaminess, less sourness, and cooler serving temperature might have helped. Sort of like a stronger Molson Golden.

This medium bodied golden ale is one of the better I have tried. Nice full flavor and lager-like smoky finish create a nicely balanced flavorful offering.
