A very solid cask IPA--Poured a medium-dark copper with a little white head. Cellar-temperature and smelling of solid hop and flavor was the same. The mouthfeel was medium, not too heavy at all. A very delicious and drinkable IPA. GP is definitely doing something right.

At the brew pub of Grizzly Peak Brewing in Ann Arbor MI. The look was not that great, but the taste was light and bright but also full and flavorful. Fruity notes and more floral than herbal. Nice.

This is one strong beer! This must have been influenced sparta. Talk about a kick to the chest of flavor and nothing else but goodness. The hops are not over bearing. This one gives a good balance of strong and balanced, the hops are easy to bear but is easy to drink.

POurs a light golden at the brewpub, with light fluffy white head. Aroma is grassy and a bit one dimensional, without much sweetness here. Flavor is grassy hops, though a bit watered down, a little biscuit. Mostly hops on this one. The mouthfeel is slightly flat--something I find with a lot of the GP beers. Overall this finishes a bit dry on the palate. This isn't a bad beer, but the carbonation is really lacking and the lack of flavor put this one down on the ratings. Not offensive though. Could not taste much difference between this and Sheerwater.

Had this on-tap at the Grizzly Peak Brewing Company. Poured a nice clear reddish gold with a smooth white head. Lacing was minimal.
Aroma was hoppy with a lot of citrus and some grass.
The taste to me was a little "off" due to a butterness. Yes, butter--not bitter. It kept me from enjoying the hoppy goodness of this IPA.
Medium mouthfeel, smooth and light on the carbonation.
Sadly, I was not impressed by this beer due to the butter factor. Hopefully this was just with this batch and not the beer in general.

Nice, orange tinged color. Decent head and some serious lacing on down the glass. Very nice, full hop aroma. Mellow citrus smell. Good malty flavor balanced with a nice big rush of hops. Good bittering finish. Nice, resiny mouthfeel. Overall a damn fine effort. Never heard of this brewery before. The label says its all Cascades for the hops here. Thats nice from the usual 4 or 5 varieties brewers try to cram into an IPA. Good US IPA.

Sligthly hazed golden orange with a dense white head. Great retention and lacing that was maintained throughout. Pleasant aroma of toasted malts and a combination of citrus and floral hops. Good balance in the flavour with toasty maltiness and medium bitterness. Hops are more orange than grapefruit. Some hop dryness, medium/light body. A solid IPA that is more about balance than intensity.
