Had on tap at the brewpub Monday night.Poured into a standard pint glass a slightly hazed medium golden with a thinner wispy white head atop.A shot of fresh citric hops really jump out, fresh floral and citrusy.A lighter feel to the beer but that was to be expected.Citrusy hops are the main flavor component, not bitter but fruity and fresh,a light dryer malt base is there as well. This is the best "session" style IPA I have had, easy to drink and alot of hop flavor packed into it.

On Tap at the fabulous Foothills Pub...
A: Rich golden appearance. Very nice looking one and a half finger head.
S: Very strong citrus grapefruit notes.
T: Big hop kick. A lot of citrus and some earthy hop notes. Did I say big hop kick?
M: Light bodied taste up front followed immediately by mouth numbing bitterness. The hop profile lingers on for a good while.
O: WOW... Talk about not reading a book by it's cover. For 3.4% ABV this one has a HUGE hop profile. I have had around 5 session IPA's and I enjoyed this one the most by far. Definitely would have gotten close to 5 from me for a style rating.

Served on tap at Foothills Brewing Company in Winston-Salem, NC.
A: Pours a very lightly hazy medium golden yellow in color with light amounts of visible carbonation. The beer has a half finger tall white head that reduces to a thick film covering the majority of the surface of the beer with a slightly thicker ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of floral and citrus/orange hops.
T: Upfront there is a solid malt backbone with some light hints of caramel and moderately strong flavors of floral and citrus/orange hops. Slightly earthy with light to moderate amounts of bitterness which lingers very slightly.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation.
O: Super easy to drink and sessionable - great flavors and smells combined with the low ABV. I could easily see myself drinking this fairly often if I lived closer to the brewery and didn't only get to visit it when in town to visit family.

Enjoyed on-tap in a mug.
A: Pours a medium golden color with a 1 finger head and nice lacing.
S: Wonderful mix of floral and citrus hops. Not really any malts to speak of.
T: Just like the smell, the taste is predominantly hops with a slight malt backbone. Actually very tasty considering the low ABV.
M: Light to medium bodied with good carbonation.
O: I was actually very impressed with this beer. I had lower expectations because of the ABV, but it was quite enjoyable. Extremely easy to drink and very tasty.

Stopped by the brewpub for $3 pints, and decided on this one among others. Came out a clear, pale orange with just a thin sheet of lace on top. The nose is a bounty of citrus, green veggies, grass. An earthy beer for sure. Clean slick feel moderately carbonated. This may be a session beer as far as ABV goes, but what it lacks there, it makes up for in flavor. A massive amount of hops are crammed into this "little" beer. Potent spicy hops give this beer some character. The finish is short though which keeps me sipping, and before I knew it, this one was gone. This beer isn't what I expected, but it's a tasty little session beer that doesn't compromise on flavor. A surprising one that I would recommend.

Labelled as a Session IPA. Served from tap into a tulip. Poured a golden yellow with a half finger white head that subsided to a minimal amount slowly. Maintained nice lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, onion, citrus, earth, earth hop, and citrus hop. The flavor was of sweet malt, onion, earth, citrus, earth hop, and onion hop. It had a light feel on the palate with medium carbonation. Overall this was a pretty decent brew. The look on this one was really quite nice as it was crystal clear and had a very nice golden hue to it. Upon first inspection of the aroma I was rather surprised to be able to find the onion aspect that goes on in Gubna. However it wasn't overpowering in this one but just there enough to make its presence known. There was more of the same on the flavor as it was fairly well balanced, but a few of the flavors didn't feel like they belonged to me. Not too bad for the lower ABV with a nice touch of flavor and aroma. Definitely worth trying if you get the chance to do so. Tick.
