Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.
Pours a pale golden color with a small white head that quickly dissipated. Aroma was very subtle, not much there at all, smell was mostly malty sweetness. Taste was balanced, nice hop flavor with a little malt flavor. highly carbonated, but pretty smooth, very light body. It could make a good thirst quenching session beer, but it's still just average.

Stopped by the brewpub for a beer after work last week. Wanted something light with my pub fries, so I went with this. Came out a crystal clear pale gold, with a thin white head atop. Simple grain-like scents - husk, mild pale citrus tones. Easy drinking, crisp body. Mild flavors of corn, bread, very faint and fleeting hop presence, which was expected. All-in-all, this is a nice beer. An approachable beer for the masses, and a good one to pair with some barbecue fare for the upcoming warm months.

As a fan of dark beers, I seldom find a light ale that makes me happy. This one does. Definitely has a lot of blond ale characteristics, but in a way that I actually like!
Appearance- pale, semi-transparent. 1 finger head, moderate lacing.
Smell- as neutrally beer as can be. Not the sharp lager smell, not the bitter of stouts, just "beer."
Taste- surprisingly pleasant. Not strong, but definitely flavorful. No single flavor predominates (thank heavens that Foothills didn't use cascade hops- those suckers would have overwhelmed everything in the brew) but the slight yeast, mild malt, and fairly smooth hop flavor all go well with the gentle but consistent carbonation. Given my aversion to light beers, I am shocked how much I am enjoying this one!
Mouthfeel- not too thick, and definitely not too thin. The "cream" comes through in the feel. I wish more porters and stouts hit this perfect balance of lingering flavor and taste. The aroma definitely fills the nose with every sip.
Overall- I don't even need to factor out my preference for dark beers. This is darn good. If you are looking for a "unique" beer, keep looking. This is one of those that takes a known set of characteristics and just does them well. I'll definitely come back to this one in the warm weather!!!

Carolina Blonde,
I have had this beer several times at Foothills Brewery in Winston-Salem, on tap and via a growler.
The appearance is a pleasant clear blonde.
The smell is very fresh. Not too hoppy or malty.
The taste is wonderful; a very traditional tasting beer.
The mouth feel is slightly creamy but not much so.
Overall it is a beer one can consume many of in one sitting and not feel bloated.
This beer simply tastes very good.

No freshness dating.
A= Pours a nice hazy light yellow color with a little thin white head on it that holds a little retention and lacing is present.
S= The smell is actually pungent for being a cream ale. It's got a little bit of a skunkyness to it and a little hop bite. There is a bit of a poopy wheat character to it as well. For a cream it actually has a nice interesting smell that isn't just "beer".
T= The taste is a little more what you would expect from a cream. A nice light hop character that just barely makes itself known with a little bit of a poopy wheat character. Not quite macro lager light but the flavors are subtle. It actually is quite nice to me.
M= Smooth and creamy.
O= This is prolly the best cream ale I've ever had. Spotted Cow sort of holds the standard for me but this is better I think. The notes are subtle but they are there. It makes it both an easy drinking summer beer and a beer that is worth trying for the biggest beer geek.
