Poured from a bomber into a snifter. Pours a nice cloudy orange red with a white head. Smells of piney and floral hops, the balance is awesome. Tastes of lots of earthy bitter hops with a bit of an alcohol taste. Beer is carbonated correctly, medium bodied, but still one that can be thrown down for awhile. Overall, a very good beer.

22 oz bottle poured into a snifter at cellar temperature.
L – Medium amber color with a 2-finger foamy, rocky, cream-colored head. Nice retention and some great sticky lacing. Clear with lots of bubbles.
S – A nice mix of hop aromas including pine, orange, and peach. There are some bready and caramel malt aromas here, as well.
T – It follows the nose nearly exactly. It starts off with a solid backbone of sweet bready and caramel malt and progresses to a smooth hoppy bitterness with mostly pine and also some grapefruit, orange, and peach notes.
F – Medium-bodied with decent carbonation, a chewy and sticky mouthfeel, and a bitter, dry finish. Bitter citrus, fruity, and piney hops linger for a while. There’s maybe a bit of warmth from the alcohol, but it’s extremely well-hidden.
O – This is a nice DIPA. It’s not overly complex or groundbreaking but it’s a very solid example of the style. It has a nice balance between the malt and hops and is extremely drinkable especially given the ABV. If you like DIPAs and can get your hands on it, it’s worth a try.

A: Pours a nice clear orange with a tall fluffy tan head. Head fades slowly with a nice island remaining. Heavy on the thick fluffy lacing everywhere.
S: Nice citrusy aroma. Grapefruit and oranges primarily. Bready malt. Some pungent pine and resin in there too.
T: Again, lots of citrus. Sweet oranges counterbalance bitter grapefruit. Kinda has an orange marmalade flavor to it in a way. Sweet bread and caramel malt. Wave of bitterness in the finish with quite a bit of resin. Maybe hints of pine in the finish too. Lingering oily pine resin in between sips.
M: Medium-heavy body, goes down nicely.
O: Very nice DIPA, surprisingly balanced. Reminds me a lot of DFH 90min, just a bit bigger/hoppier/more bitter. But in the same vein, well balanced and sweet. Not a hop bomb by any means either. It works quite well, very enjoyable.

A - Clear dark amber with a good head and lacing.
S - A bit of a soapy nose? Light hoppiness, some graininess and a strong alcoholic tinge.
T - Spicy, not terribly bitter for a DIPA and medium sweetness. Pine and grapefruit hops.
M - Hard carbonation but the body has some moderate heft and smoothness.
D - Feels like a bit of a different IPA - booziness and balance makes this feel more like a sipper to me.
