Comfortable easy drinking. Slightly tarnished gold color, small head, but lacing remains. Smells of hops, flowers, grass. Taste of crackers, slight hop kick. Medium mouthfeel, overall quite nice.

Very refreshing beer. Great for warmer weather and would pair well with fish.

Draft pint at Elways.
Arrived a clear, golden yellow color with a small, white head. Foam left some thin sheets of lace on the sides of the pint glass.
Not much smell, caramel malt, grain and some light floral hops. Basically, it smells like a pilsener should.
Taste starts on the sweet side, mild bitterness at the end. Touch of lemony citrus.
Crisp mouthfeel, dry finish. Light bodied lager.
Clean, refreshing and very easy drinking.

12oz can from a mixed sixer I picked up from the brewery. Yellow color, looks like your average pils. Aroma of lager yeast, minerals. Flavor us the same and super easy to drink. I could see myself buying sixers of thus over Mama's Lil Yella Pils in the future.

Golden yellow body with a fizzy, white head. Bright, malty aroma; cut, green grass hop aroma. Soft, spicy hop bitterness atop a light, cereal-like grain flavor. Light bodied, crisp and dry.
A well-done pilsner that does the style justice. Crisp and refreshing and a perfect little beer when you don't want to been sledge-hammered with a strong ale style yet still want something with taste and presence.

Small to medium sized head quickly falls to a decent lacing above a clear bright wet straw golden colored beer.
Light sour grain malt and with even lighter yeast and hops mixed in the aroma of this pilsener.
Sour grain malts and light hops blend well in the taste.
Dry lasting aftertaste with light tastes lingering on with this light bodied drink.
Distinct light sourish taste, nothing like a sour just the basic pils taste, with its blend of malts and hops and even the yeast make this a pretty decent pilsener for my tastes.

More embarrassment! Blargimus had sent me a box of CANs in furtherance of The CANQuest (TM) and I promptly put them in the reefer to cool, fully intending to review them forthwith. Between school and a backlog of bottles, I fell behind, but I am doing my best to get caught up.
From the CAN: "pack it in, pack it out"; "recycle"; "six-pack for your back-pack"; "Pallavicini Pilsner (TM)"; "Our Bohemian style pilsner is named after an extreme ski run at Arapahoe Basin ski area. Brewed and [CAN]ned at 9,156 feet above sea level in Dillon, Colorado, our brewer has created a well-balanced beer with a nice golden color and a crisp dry finish."; "'Only with the finest ingredients, only when the beer is perfect.'"; "'good beer for the outlaw in you'".
How clever! Apparently, this is the renamed Pallavicini Pilsner, which I reviewed separately as such.
Here is the verbiage from the new CAN: "Brewed for the Outlaw in You."; "Dead Legend. Live Beer. Keep Cold."; "Cut from the same cloth as a Bohemian Pilsner, this bright, golden lager perfectly balances moderate Noble-hop aroma and flavor with a malty, slightly sweet, medium body. Perfect after a long dusty day in the saddle[.]"; "Chuck Wagon[:] Partners well with our famous Prime Rib, Chicken Oscar or Crab Cakes."
The Crack was music to my ears and I utilized an inverted Glug to celebrateI ended upwith a finger of dense, bone-white, meringue-like head with great retention. Color was an oh-so-slightly-hazy lemon-yellow. Nose smelled both grassy and minty, reminiscent of the other day, when I inadvertently mowed over some wild mint growing in my backyard. Mouthfeel was medium and the taste was more lemony-citrus and biscuit malt than what I had gotten from the nose. Finish was semi-dry, kind of like having eaten lemon biscotti. I like lemon biscotti and I like beer, but I came away from this underwhelmed. I CAN tell you that better examples of the style exist in CANs and as such, do not bother seeking this one out.

Thanks to the legendary woodychandler for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a cloudy yellow color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is sweet, grains, malts. Tasteis also sweet, malty, a bit of grains, very easy drinking. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall would be a good beer on a hot summer day.
