The can just says Märzen, so idk if this is the right Märzen. Anyhooo…
Pours coppery, almost orange. Into my Guinness glass bc that’s what I drink beers from. Small foamy head; disappears into almost nothing.
Smell is bready but not strong, a little citrusy.
Tastes sharp, malty not roasty, kind of peppery, a little citrus-acidic. Hint of lemon? Idk. You tell me. Hops come in the aftertaste. Yeah, lemon. I think.
Feels decent. A little sharpness in the carbonation.
Clove? No, lemon. I’m sure of it.
Overall, good. I don’t typically love seasonal beers and I don’t know what’s good for a style. I writes em as I drinks em. This one is good. I’d drink it again.

Pours golden with a copper tint and a fluffy white head that disappears with very noticeable lacing. Not a terribly strong aroma but still got hints of dark breads, grain, caramel and what smells like apple. Malt is moderately sweet with a noticeable bitterness throughout. Moderate carbonation and a medium body with some lingering effect at the end. Not as malty as I prefer for a märzen and the overall taste isn't quite right/doesn't feel as polished as it should be for the style for me but overall a decent beer.

12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours golden with great clarity and transparency with bubbles racing upwards; fluffy white head that fades leaving decent retention and lacing. The aromas are malt forward. Hints of caramel, apple and corn. The flavors follow the nose. More caramel, apples and corn. Some grains, crackers and breads. Mild sweetness. Moderate to low bitterness. Solid malt backbone. Finishes clean with a subtle stickiness. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is nice. It's on the lighter side of medium-bodied active carbonation. It's sharp, fluffy, smooth and easy to drink.
This is an okay Oktoberfest. It's not the best one I've ever had. It's a little unique and rough around the edges for the style, but it's still drinkable.

12oz can stamped CMB2 0209 poured into a mug at fridge temp 5.4% ABV 21 IBU per can. The beer pours less than bright, but not hazy. Color is deep copper with light khaki head. The head recedes to a thin ring and little else. The aroma is dry toasted whole grain bread with a slight hint of sweet caramel. The taste is sweet and tart caramel with a tinny note throughout. The mouthfeel is thin bodied with medium carbonation and a dry finish. Overall, awful. I assume this is a leftover from last year as I bought it in an unfamiliar bottle shop. If not, they should be embarrassed.

Not bad. Not the best beer I've had of its type, but better than a lot of the big brand oktoberfest beers.

Thanks Jim!
Deep copper body with a soapy head that hangs around for a minute.
Very sweet in the aroma and taste. Toasted malts, caramel, toffee, earthy and slightly floral hops.
Heavier than a typical marzen but with good carbonation. The finish could be drier.
