16 ounce pint - $4.75 at Taco Mac in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Appearance: Served a light copper body, quite clear, and topped with an eighth of an inch of whitish foam.

Smell: Forward notes of caramel, pale malts, and a bit of basic breadiness ahead of the citrus (quietly pithy) and lowly resinous florals.

Taste: Sugar-toned pale malts with a bit of pils, too. Faint florals and citrus fruitiness. Medium-light bitterness. A minor hint of light-colored caramel joins the party with some warmth, though later and lighter than expected from the nose. Closes out lightly bitter and dry.

Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation.

Overall: Works as a nice little slender, sleek, food-friendly ale.

i got this beer in my beer club this month. being a pale ale i dont expect much...but isnt that the point of a plae ale? 4 ingredients. i think this beer does what a pale ale is supposed to do, just be basic. nothing too special, but not bad... if you are lookin for a pa. this will work.

I tasted this beer after a Deviant Dale's IPA, so this beer never stood a chance to begin with.

A - Looked okay. Decent head. Nothing too special.

S - Smells like a wet homeless bulldog who has been sitting in the sun for hours. I have smelled better things in porta-o-potties.

T - Like you actually licked that wet homeless bulldog who has been sitting in the sun for hours. Then you went into the port-o-potty and licked the seat. Someone should light the Lazy Magnolia brewery on fire for actually releasing this beer to the public.

M - The best feeling was when I spit it out.

Overall - Deep South? More like horrible in your mouth...not bad.
