The colour is cool pale orange; the liquid is very hazy. It looks a bit like lemon squash. The high white head slowly sinks down to a fine lid, leaving lots of lacing.

The smell is bitter-sour with hints of citric fruits, lemon and orange peels, and some earthy and grassy notes.

The taste is fresh and fruity/spicy. Some citric notes (lemon) and wheat sourness. Hints of wax/paraffin. The beer is quite dry, almost no sweetness. The aftertaste got some chemical off-flavours, but the exotic fruits and spices dominate. The finish is fresh with wheat-notes.

The carbonation is mild with very small and fresh bubbles. The liquid is semi-smooth.

A well done wit, yet not as good as the best one: I miss some spices and sweetness.

I got my hands on a long-necked brown 33 cl bottle, with a green, very "summery-looking" label. I think of swedish mid-summers eve.

A: Pours dish-watery (in a good way), just what you would expect from a witbier: murky pale golden. The white rather small airy head sets quickly and leaves little lacings.

S: Slightly roasted malt together with the wheat, which gives it a ripe banana feel. Citric notes are there, but I lack the spices...

T: The taste's got a boiled meat tone, it almost makess me think of rauchbier (without the smoked tone). Sourness. Wheat. Some citric notes.

M: Aftertaste is rather long for a Witbier, and holds sweetness at first but then turns bitter. Body is mediumfull and carbonation is rich.

D: Witbier is a great summer beer but this one is probably the weakest beer from Oppigårds. I suggest you buy another beer from Oppigårds or another Witbier...

Pours a hazy yellow, like apple-must, with a fizzly head that dies down rather quickly.

Smells strongly of coriander, bitter orange and a hint of caramellized apples.

Smell is pretty... well, I'm not liking it alot. I get band-aid, light synthetic banana and a very unfitting bready almost pilsner-like maltiness.

Average mouthfeel with a soda-like carbonation, nothing special, but bnot terrible.

A hazy yellow brew with a rather small white head leaving little lacing but some curtains.

The smell is fresh acidity from oranges, a complex mixture of spices, cardamom, clove and cinnamon. Some yeast as well. But in all a bit weak.

The taste has acidity, orange juice and sour creme, the spices as well, and some metallic precense.

Medium carbonation, a light body and fresh feeling.

A refreshing and mild summer wheat.
