Introduced in the mid-80's, this was the first Swedish Easter beer.
The colour is deep brown with a tint of amber. The finger thick head slowly sinks down to a off white lid, leaving some lacing.
The smell is weak. There are some dusty, sweet fruity notes, some roasted malt and a hint of yeast.
The taste is sweet with some roasted malt. Some mild fruity hops and caramel, and a slowly building bitterness. Not much of body, really. The aftertaste got some salty-fruity notes and some hints of boiled vegetables, an anonymous bitterness and a slight touch of alcohol.
The carbonation is very strong with lots of minimal bubbles. The liquid is somewhat creamy.
A boring beer.
