This beer is part of a commercial campaign called The Duel: For a limited time, Carsberg Sverige is selling two new beers under the experimental brand Falcon: A hefe weisen Weiss and a dry Irish stout Stout. Both beers are sold as 5% abv at restaurants and 3.5% at grocery shops. After a voting among the customers, one of the beers will become a permanent part of the Falcon assortment.
The liquid is cloudy, the colour is orange with a tint of brown. The white airy foam slowly sinks down to a minimal ring without any lacing.
The smell is sour with fruity notes (green apples), dough and an unnatural perfumed touch. Not very strong, nor very exciting.
The taste is Weres the body? Hell, I have drunk mineral waters with more body than this. Watery is a understatement. There are notes of sour wheat dough, some salt, and a odd chemical touch of modelling clay. The aftertaste is very weak and medium long with some notes of yeast and cream.
The carbonation is, as it should, very potent with lots of small bubbles.
Oh This is by far the most uninteresting wheat beer that I have reviewed so far. Probably because of the low alcoholic content, but on the other hand there is at least one better Weiss at 3.5% (Åbro Bryggmästarens veteöl).

I'm a pretty big fan of the Hefe Weizen style but this is one of the worst beer I've ever tried. It looks decent with its cloudy dark yellow color and big head. It smells pretty bad, sour and artificially fruity. The taste is even worse. A vile mix of wheat, yeast, metal and rubber.
I had 2 or 3 sips and then i poured the rest of it in the sink. Still it managed to give me a headache.
