Poured from a green 11.2 oz. bottle. Has a light golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is slightly skunky, grains, just a touch of sweetness. Taste is crisp, grains, malts, mild yet refreshing. Feels light in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

Poured this Euro Lager from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. It poured a pale yellow color, excellent clarity. Produced a small white head, poor retention and left little lacing on the glass. The aroma was awful, classic skunky Euro Lager smell. Light in body, thin/watery beer, skunky taste, some grain and a bit of hops, not much else. The Skunk dominates. Ordered this at a Greek restaurant thinking I would try something new. I didnt even know that the Greeks brewed beer..., evidently they don't do it very well. Avoid. Prost!

Fizzy head that dies to a single layer of minute bubbles. No lace at all. Surprisingly cloudy. Golden color (at least it's darker than straw).
Mostly grainy smell, but it doesn't have the usual adjunct weakness of a macro. No hop smell sadly.
Very spritzy but relatively rich for the style. Unbelievably sweet with lots of caramel. Short aftertaste. No hop! Some lingering alcohol.

A: Pours a clear golden color with a billowy head that fades quickly to some lacing.
S: Aroma of malt sweetness, grain and a bit musty.
T: Sweet taste of malt and some grain with a mild bitterness and a slightly sweet finish.
F: Light body, mild crispness, fairly smooth with a bit of a grainy texture.
O: A run of the mill Euro Lager, unoffensive and goes best with food.

I was given this bottle by a Greek friend of mine who said they serve this at the Greek restaurant he frequents. 11.2oz green bottle with a production date of 10/19/11 stamped on the back label.
The beer poured a clear pale gold color and made 1 finger's worth of bubbly white head, but the head dissipated in mere seconds and it left no lacing behind as I drank it.
Slightly skunky and slightly sweet smell.
Mostly tasted of grain (corn) and sweet malt with a touch of hops for balance but with very little bitterness.
Light and crisp with the perfect amount of carbonation for the style.
Nothing to get excited over, but very drinkable.

Beer reiew from mid-December 2010: pours a clear yellow color with a 2 finger snow white cloudy head that faded slowly and left very good lacing sticking to the sides.
Smells of sweet malt, grains, caramel, grass and wheat; very typical Euro lager odor that's nice, crisp and sweet.
Tastes of sweet malt, light grains, caramel, grass, citrus hops, lemon and wheat; typical Euro lager taste as well that's light, crisp and refreshing. Above average and very drinkable, it went well with my Mousakka.

Beer three of World beer Sunday imported from Greece.
Pours a deep golden color with a decent white head that displays minimal retention and lace. Smells of bready malts with a hint of melanoid, smells quite German actually. This initially opened with intense aroma of skunk, but over the couple of minutes as I pulled up the listing those aromas are all but gone. Taste is caramel and burnt sugars, bready malt and little to no hop flavor. Medium body and level of carbonation with a sweet almost sticky mouthfeel. This one wasn't half bad, or maybe it was just that much better than the last one. Sweet and malty almost to a fault and I could have used a few more hops.

A: Pours with a nice big head, nice lacing. Color is clear copper/blonde.
S: Sweet hops, malts, grassy
T: Corn, reeds, dandelions. Not my favorite sort of taste in a beer.
M: A little carbonation, very light beer. Thin, uncomplicated.
O: When you're out of Heineken, here's a Greek beer that tastes about the same and is just as cheap. The green bottle surely contributes to that character. It's not my favorite beer, but it's not that bad, if you like that sort of thing.

Appearance: Very pale yellow. Decent carbonation, but the foam is above average, and the lacing is definitely good.
Smell: Sweet corn. Sweet hops. Sweet beer.
Taste/Mouthfeel: Sweet, yet drinkable beer. Thin-bodied also. It's a weird taste/feel combo.
Drinkability: Not too thirst-quenching. It's not bad though.
Overall: A decent beer.

Appearance: Hazy golden-yellow in color, with a few flakes i suspension, as another reviewer noted. I suppose we can conclude this is normal for this beer. Profuse streams of carbonation drift lazily to the surface. The head is white, moderate in size and rather dense, the lacing in thin bands about the glass walls.
Aroma: Pale malt, profuse grassy hop notes, and a little mustiness. No skunk noted, the green bottle was kept from the light.
Taste: Opens with clean malt, a little mild bitterness appears later in the taste, along with some phenolic alcohol. Finishes with a lingering mild metallic bitterness.
Mouth feel: Smooth, very full, quite soft.
Drinkability/notes: A decent example of a very bland style, it is inoffensive and far from memorable.
Presentation: Packaged in a twelve-ounce green glass bottle with a pop-off crown, served in a standard Pilsener glass.

[Best served in a Lager Glass]
Poured a medium yellow with a small fizzy white head that was mostly diminishing and had poor lacing. The aroma was light of flowery hops, straw malts and had a soapy yeast scent. It tasted light and mildly bitter at first and finished vaguely acidic and slightly bitter. Mouthfeel was light in body and watery in texture with a mild carbonation. Overall a light lager with not much to offer.

Poured into a pint glass.
Pours a clear, pale gold, with a stark white head of about two fingers that drops slowly to a thin layer of foam. Leaves very faint traces of lace.
Aromas of earth, grass, lemons, sweet malt. Bready.
Tastes of grainy, bready malt, a little on the sweet side, balancing noble hop bitterness that is barely perceptable. Finish is sweet/malty.
Medium bodied mouthfeel, smooth, no real carbonic bite, good level of carbonation.
Very drinkable beer, nothing aggressive/offensive. Good balance toward malt. Easy drinking beer. Very much to style.

Pours golden with some tiny bubbles and a short lasting white head.
The aroma is fairly neutral, with a slight bit of florals and honey.
Malty taste and smooth, soft mouthfeel, light flowery notes and sweet malt are present. Actually, this isn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be considering the origin and the doom of the green bottle. Desc.

Pours macro yellow with a white head. Not as clear as some other macro lagers. Aroma is standard macro but a little sweeter. Flavor is lots of corn but the sweetness is still there. Hops are not present in the flavor. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Not a terrible beer, but not much going on in the flavor or aroma department.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a pint glass. This beer was yellowy pale that was cloudy with a eggshell head. The head was coarse and fizzy away quickly with little lacing. Immediate smell was a touch fruitywhich was over run with skunk. This was a more skunky lager than I expected our of the Mediterranean region. Carbonation remained strong throughout the beer which turned out to be watery and bland. As light as it was it would have been a decent session but the skunky flavor would over power my ability to enjoy more than one of these beers. Overall I am fortunate to have only purchased a single of this beer. I am not a big fan of the Italian lagers and this is comparable to them but lacks flavor for the style.

This pours a pale gold with an airy, very rapidly fading head. The nose is very grainy, sweet with a barely whiff of hops. Fairly sweet, grainy malt beer, bitterness is very low, finishing bland. Neutral texture, fairly carbonated.
Very poor offering. Fortunately, I bought it as a single and not a six-pack, and I guess that adds a Greek beer for me.

Poured from bottle into pint glass.
A: Straw light coloring, decent head that quickly dissipated. High carbonation apparent.
S: Strong sweet malty tones coming from the nose which not much else to balance it out.
T & M: Pretty standard lager, balance is definitely more to the malty side, finish is on the sweet nice. Not much crispness and the high carbonation from the appearance is not apparent.
D: Drinkable but nothing special. Strange in that I've only seen it in the Metroplex in singles.

12oz green bottle into a pilsner glass.
Aris pours a pale golden hue with a decently-sized cap of bone-white head that retains well thanks to an abundance of carbonation streams. Aroma is rife with sweet corn and rice, with a slightly skunked note to the hops. White pepper and grain husks linger in the background.
Surprisingly, the flavor isn't half bad given the style. Unassuming backbone of crystal malts support a solid hop presence of fresh cut grass, dehydrated orange wedges, and clover. Mouthfeel is exceedingly crisp and well-carbonated, as the light body serves the style well, making this a fairly drinkable Adjunct Lager. All in all, a serviceable beer that I'd probably reach for over many BMC products. Still, I guess that's not saying much...

A - Light golden color, 1/4 creamy white head which disapears quickly and leaves no lacing at all.
S - Pretty bad. Smells cheap, old and skunky.
T - Watery, a little skunky. Very unimpressive.
M - High carbonation, thin
D - Not good. Don't like it. Very cheap tasting. Not sure if I'll finish even one. I just burped and tasted a skunky aftertaste. Wow.
