Although we had already had dinner, and my fair share of beer for the day, we came here on the recommendation of Vero at Biere O Loo to try the Framboise et Miel. It's your basic restaurant, nothing too inspiring but the food looked good, and it was busy with locals so they must be doing something right. 10 house beer on tap from an RIS to a DIPA. Had the Framboise, which was refreshing and drinkable without much depth. What's impressive about all this is that this was the least favourite of my stops on the trip, yet if this was in Calgary it would be one of our cities best - Bromont has about 6000 people. Ugh.

Brouemont, it's a brewpub in Bromont. get it?!
I went there during a roatrip in this part of the province on a sunny day.
My girlfriend and I was looking for something to eat and drink. What a coincidence, Brouemont was on our way.
The atmosphere was ok. More like a restaurant vibe than a pub or bar, but it was, I think in the middle of the after noon, so we were the only client in the pub.
We both had an hamburger wich was delicious with french fries, also delicious.
The beer was also delicious(ipa I think) and they had a good selection. Serving glass was special and they seems to contains more than a normal pint..so they offer quality and quantity
and all this story and good souvenirs was at a reasonable price. It's one of the good brewpub I try.
Give it a chance,you won't be disapointed!

Been there quite a few times. Discovered this place after meeting the owner at Chambly's beerfest. I've been going there as often as i can bringing new friends most often to have them taste the magical scotch ale (when available) or its reknown frambozen. Personaly i can always fall back on the IPA, APA, Imperial, Russian Stout or Rosie's Red in case the scotch isn't available.
A nice warm place, near the ski slopes, with very good pub food and exceptionnal beers! A very nice picker upper after a hard week and it's always nice to find the owners Patrick and/or Diane there who'll never turn you down for a conversation.
Just go will ya? You'll go back with friends!!!

After spending an entire morning plying the trails in and around Mount Bromont on my Vertex 30 I had no trouble convincing my two riding partners to lunch at this newly opened micro-brewpub in the Eastern Townships.
Arrived at opening and sat down at a table. Quickly ordered a pint of their weizen (see review) and began to celebrate Pierre's 33rd birthday. The dining area is clean and windows provide a view, albeit nothing majestic. The menu is varied and interesting but doesn't include their brews. Had to get up and check out the chalkboard next to the bar for the 411. A cream ale, a weizen, a red ale (rousse), an Imperial IPA, a stout, an Imperial Stout, a regular IPA and a raspberry and honey ale make up the offerings. A decent selection that has something for the macro drinker and the extreme beer geek as well.
The food menu is very complete and lists pasta, sandwiches, grilled fare and apetizers. I picked out a Mexican burger from the menu accompanied by a caesar salad and a side order of fries and garlic mayonnaise. Surprisingly tasty, and generous. The birthday boy had a steak with baked potato and caesar salad and found 'em damn fine as well. Finished off my burger with a glass of their very tasty IPA.
Bill rang in at $25 cdn which I found quite reasonable considering the quality and the region which is somewhat touristy. I could have done much worse in Montréal.
If any border dwellers happen to venture to Bromont for some trails I strongly suggest this place as a fuelling point post ride, you will not be disappointed.

On a rare trip out to the eastern townships, my girlfriend, an old University mate of hers and myself were heading out to their 5-year class reunion, and we decided to go early in order to stop by Brouemont on the way for lunch. It's near the highway, about an hour's drive from Montreal. This region looks and feels like northern New England, and pretty much everyone here speaks English, so tourists need not be afraid. Brouemont is near a ski resort and one of those waterslide parks, just in case you need an extra excuse to drive all the way there.
The building kind of looks like a ski lodge, with a nice terrace. But it was raining hard and pretty cold so we slipped inside. Patrick, the owner/brewmaster, welcomed us at the door and ushered us to a free table in the non-smoking section. The place was relatively packed, some kind of stag party going on. The inside definitely has a ski lodge feel. A curved bar to your right as you walk in, we were in the other room near the big fireplace, with bottles from all over the world and cozy nook with sofas. There seems to be a second floor area, but I didnt go up for a peek. For a brewpub, he strangely has a lot of shwag from other breweries, even the chairs have Stalla Artois tattooed on them. The stainless steel urinal is a nice touch.
We were too far from the blackboard, so Patrick ran down the list of Beers available on tap, around a dozen, ranging from light blondes to a Russian Imperial Stout, so really something for everyone. Patrick used to run Tabbys bar in Bedford, and had a excellent IPA back in the day, so I started off with that. It didnt disappoint, and neither did any of the other selections I ended up having. I had a few Beer-geek questions, and even though Pat wasnt too forthcoming and precise with his answers, and I respect the fact that he wants to keep his recipes a secret, he was however super friendly and gave us a tour of his brewing installations, in a separate building in the back (a legal obligation when you have an industrial brewing permit). Because he has said permit, he can sell Beer to go, but hasnt started yet. He explained that the whole concept is pretty complicated, but hes working on it.
The food menu was pretty basic, sandwiches, burgers, salads, steaks and finger food like nachos. My burger, topped with herbed goat cheese and sun-dried tomatoes, and the spicy mayo that came with the fries were quite good.
In my personal top-5 brewpubs in Quebec, not really for atmosphere but for the quality of the brews.
