Review from BeerAdvocate Magazine Issue #42 (Jul 2010):
YES! More craft brewers need to adjunct their beer. The lacing has staying power, though the haze on the yellow is distracting. This lager packs a yeasty, grassy aroma. Crisp and a bit slick, obvious light body. Fresh- cut grass and nutty yeast coat the palate; hops are fresh with ample bitterness and a good amount of flavor, which brings this beer up a few notches. The maltiness is a bit light, but right where it's supposed to be. Flavor overrides cleanliness. Very drinkable as well.

look: 4.5 | smell: 2.5 | taste: 3 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3
Appearance: Pours a clear goldenstraw color with a very nice head that leaves a bunch of lace
Smell: A little grainy, a little sweet but not very much aroma at all
Taste: Tastes like the aroma; very clean with a slightly grainy character that intersperses with the slightly sweet malt flavors
Mouthfeel: Light body with moderately high carbonation
Overall: Nothing to get too excited about here - a beer clearly brewed with the mass market in mind; more power to them if they can crack it with this one

[Best served in a Lager glass]
The pour was a clear pale yellow with an average sized (1-2 finger) white fizzy head that diminished rapidly, down to a sparse film with a very small collar and some poor spotty lacing.
The aroma was of a light grain malt, a mild grassy hop and a soapy yeast with a strong adjunct odor (rice and grain).
The taste was lightly acidic and had a light mild sweetness throughout with an ever so light bitterness at the end. The flavor lasted an average time with a mild grainy Lager taste left to linger for a short time longer.
Mouthfeel was light in body and watery in texture with a solid medium carbonation.
Overall a pretty basic tasting Lager, that is nice and low in alcohol and light enough not to fill you up. In other words, a great session beer that would be a good addition to a hot days beer selection...

A - Clear, straw gold color. Creamy, smooth, white head typical of the style. Average retention leaving minimal lace.
S - Really nice aroma. Pretty nice, bready malt aroma. Touch of honey sweetness. Floral and tea like hops. Sweet, balanced and flavorful aroma.
T - Huge letdown from the nose. Grainy, corny malt flavor. Pretty tame flavor. Hints of floral hops. Disappointing given the smell.
M - Light body with average carbonation. Crisp and light.
D - Easy to drink but it doesn't make me want to drink more.
Notes: Great smelling lager, but it lets down on taste. Better than macro adjunct lagers but not significantly. I guess as it says on the label, it's just beer. Not great but it does the job for a lawnmower beer I guess.

look: 3.5 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.5
Appearance: (3.5)
- Nice clear straw yellow lager, rather bubbly. Finger of white foaming head quickly dissipated to a thin spotty layer over the brew. Not bad.
Smell: (3.5)
- Does seem to have a nice creamy biscuity malt flavor. Nice pine and grassy hops are certainly present. This smells like a full on 6% abv lager. Liking the grainy notes.
Taste: (3.0)
- This is a simple grainy and somewhat bready lager. It's light, grassy, with a slight lager tart finish. It's simple, solid, and has the nice flavor of a heavier abv beer. Really not bad.
Mouth Feel: (3.5)
-This has an initial dry approach, hits slightly chewy in the middle, and finishes tart which makes the mouth water. It's a light bodied beer, and drinks very well.. well carbonated.
Overall: (3.5)
- This is a solid session beer. I won't get geeky and say you can never chill a beer to fridge temps, but this is nice rather cold. Refreshing for an early day beer. Worth the try!

I'm not moving the lawn, I need something to wash down chili. Ok, on to the beer:
Looks like a fizzy yellow beer. The head dissipates quickly, huge bubbles run through the glass, the the beer's color is pale yellow and quite filtered. But whole it has the character of a fizzy yellow type in its nose, at least it has an appealing aroma. There's some straw, a moderate corn sweetness, a bit of grassy hops, so it's not all bad.
Light in flavor like a Bud Light, however the flavor itself doesn't suck. Little flavors of grass and graham cracker emerge along with traces of adjunctiness. There's a big bite of carbonation which helps give the beer a clean finish.
This is a beer to go for when you're not looking for a large rush of flavor. This is a beer that's good for refreshment. I like the low 3.9% ABV level and its easy character, and in this case, it works.

appearance: Wow very active beer with a haze through it. The white lace does stay on top forever it felt like.
Smell: Hoppy with needles. It really is a classic lager smell
Taste: Clean with off flavor on the back end that I just can't put my finger on it. someone help me with it....
mouthfeel is bad. It burns there is so much carbonation. I just can't do it. It honestly sent my taste-buds into shock on the first drink there was so much activity on my tongue.
I found myself wanting to rank it higher but it just wasn't there to get the higher rating.

22 picked up at Brewforia on the way home from work. Poured into my big Shorts Imperial Pint (thanks Kevin).
Foamy 1" white head dies back into nice lacing... no real retention though... okay cap... the brew is very pale golden with seemingly a lite haze of some sort.
Clean grains... little else.. a bit husky and traces of sulfur if I really concentrate.
Again... very clean.... pale malts... a bit doughy.
Slightly better than expected body and carbonation.
Meh... okay I guess... good for what it is... tastes pretty fresh and crisp.

Bomber pours a clear straw yellow body with a small vanilla head that quickly drops into some scattered lacing.
Aroma has some crackery malt and a hint of floral hops.
Mouthfeel is light bodied with a spritzy carbonation.
Taste is dominated by a crackery pilsner type maltiness that is balanced by a dry grassy and floral hoppiness. Reminds me of kolsch.
Unpretentious and unoffensive. A decent lawn mower beer, I suppose.

A - Two plus fingers of big chunky fizzy effervescent pure white head... Pretty impressive retention, especially by Adjunct Lager standards... An extremely pale slightly hazy golden straw color... A moderate bit of moderate paced carbonation swirls throughout...
S - Cracker... Cereal... Doughy... Grainy... A touch of honey and a kiss of lemon...
T - Dominated by pale malts... Bready... Grainy... Cracker... Lemon zest... Just the slightest presence of honey... Just an allusion of light pilsneresque hops...
M - Medium bodied... A muted carbonation bite... Slightly chewy... Crisp... Mildly refreshing...
D - Quaffable... Nothing to write home about, but slightly more drinkable than your average Adjunct Lagers.... As simple and straight forward as they come... Doesn't challenge the palette or any of the senses, but every once in a while that's okay...
