Notes:
White Ale's are Belgian style beers, often refered to as "Wit" beer. Our version of this classic style is a wonderful spicy brew, infused with orange peel and coriander spices. It has a crisp refreshing flavor and a slight 'white' haze from the large percentage of wheat used in the mash.

Light straw color appropriate to the style. White cap of fine bubbles.
Smells detect sour apple, lemon, wheat and slight corriander.
Taste has more robust flavors of lemon/bitter orange peel, corriander and light wheat. A spicy bite too.
Mouthfeel is light/moderate carbonation with crisp mouth puckering sour finish.
Overall a good belgian wit beer.

Pours a cloudy yellow with almost no head, just a bit of lacing.
Hard to tell exactly what I am smelling here. Seems to be wheat and malt, and liekly a mix of spices.
Can taste the wheat up front. There is a bit of banana and clove, maybe a hint of orange peel and coriander. Finishes with a bit of a hop bite.
Fairly solid feel, decent amount of carbonation makes itself known.
This one is a bit hard to review. It is a bit different, has a lot of flavor, but hard to pinpoint exactly what. It goes down easy, and has a nice flavor to it.

Poured from a 12oz brown bottle into a Duvel tulip. No freshness date. Received as a gift from my sister Tami.
A: Hazy golden peach with short 1/2 finger cap of white head which fades quickly.
S: The aroma reminds me more of a tripel with the peach and apricot aromas mixed with light alcohol, coriander, and orange peel.
T: This is a very flavorful beer, again resembling a wheat tinged tripel due to the tangy apricot and peach mingled with orange peel and riddled with blasts of white pepper. The coriander note is very artful and accentuates without being overbearing.
M: This is still a fairly dry beer but it does carry a good deal of wheaty thickness to it. Millstream was smart though and gave this a healthy dose of carbonation to keep it light.
O: I almost marked this down a touch due to the heftier body than most wits, but the carbonation plus the great melding of typical witbier combo of orange peel, coriander and light fruit, but with the fruit quotient turned up a notch.

The Millstream Brewery, is very creative and skilled it seems.
Bottle poured into weizen
Three finger soapy, off-white head!
Hazy gold color, heavy carbonation
Smells of orange peel, coriander, and candi-sugar
Tastes: sweet orange peel, coriander, wheat malt, with a bitter finish
Mouthfeel: thin, but not too watery like many witbiers
Millstream is a great brewery, that has a lot to offer. I am pleased with the witbier, but I want the hefeweizen!
