Poured from a 12 oz can into a Duvel tulip. Best by 05Apr2013 on bottom of can. Single purchased at Wine Warehouse (Charlottesville, VA) for $2.99.

A: Slightly hazy golden amber with soft, foamy off-white 1-finger head with decent retention and good lacing.

S: Aroma is subdued and mainly pine and herbal hops aromas with light malt sweetness mixed with breadiness.

T: This beer is aptly named, as pine resin and bitterness carry this brew. There are herbal and earthy hops tones as well. This is an East Coast DIPA all the way. The maltiness is not sweet at all and provides body with only some mild bready, slightly doughy components.

M: The feel is oily along with the flavor, with good slickness and even, low-medium carbonation. I wish this beer had a slightly bigger body, but it is very drinkable, a little bit dangerous in this category.

O: Not a bad beer and my second favorite Sixpoint beer after The Crisp lager. THis beer is straightforward resiny hops, but it does a good job of delivering the goods if that's what you're looking for.

Appearance: It has a nice deep hazy orange color to it. It has a nice thick off-white head that dies down moderately slow and leaves some nice lacing.

Smell: The aromas definitely give out hints of piney resins, grapefruit, citrus and some sweet caramelly malts.

Taste: Like the aromas, it has a some nice piney resins, some grapefruit and citrus, some beadiness and sweet caramelly malts to balance it out.

Mouthfeel: It has a low carbonation with a nice overall balance and feel.

Drinkability: It's a very smooth drinkable beer accompanied with great flavors and aromas. Very drinkable, refreshing and flavorful.

(Served in a tulip)
A- This beer pours a hazy orange body with a thin cream head that fades to a ring after a few sips but sticks to the glass with each sip. There is a sluggish microcarbonation.

S- The new sneaker green hops turns woody and pungent as it finishes with some softer green citrus notes.

T- The green musty pine wood hops has some grass notes to it in the finish. There is a nice fresh pale malt hint and some candy grapefruit notes that show up as it warms aswell.

M- The medium mouthfeel has a gentle carbonation but no alcohol heat.

O- This beer has a nice rich hop character with a strong malt support but it is not bitter so it is really sessionable.

Pours a hazy amber with fluffy white head, sparse patches of fine lace left behind. Smell: a bit muted, but nice... papaya-y tropical fruit, tangerine, pine, mildly sweet. Taste: pine and sweet citrus along with an almost syrupy pale malt sweetness, lingering grapefruit peel. Medium bodied, almost chewy, then finishing juicy with oily hop everywhere. Not a world beater, but delicious. This had a far off date on the 4pk holder... Oct '13 or so.
