An email stated this was "a 5% session ESB." I see it as more of an Amber/Red Ale, but I'll listen! On-tap at Victoria Gastro Pub during Baltimore Beer Week.

A - Served with a clear copper body and two fingers worth of creamy, off white head...the head stuck around for a while and left nice lacing

S - Citrus hops are pretty noticeable right off the bat...some doughy notes and bready malts are lightly mixed in

T - This one is pretty malt driven...the bready malts are present throughout...some caramel adds sweetness...the doughy notes are also mixed in giving the beer some body...the hops, who were present in the nose, don't give much flavor...they don't show up until towards the end

M - Medium bodied...crisp, bready finish

O - I found this to be very sessionable, but I don't see it as an ESB...the hop nose and subtle citrus hop presence on the palate makes me think otherwise...and the fact that there's a lot of breadiness instead of sweetness...in the end, this one was a nice surprise to have and as I said, pretty easy to drink

buddy brought this over for NYE and we crushed it over the course of the evening with other friends. said he didn't know what style it was but it looked like an amber to me or perhaps a red ale

beer poured with a white crisp foam and definitely had a haze to it. seems like there is some yeast in there too which is not a bad thing! :-)

smelled like a lot of hops and big biscuit with some spices in it. huh very interesting and not what i was expecting.

taste? well it was not that fierce of a taste but man did this go down easy. we crushed the entire half gallon in about 45 minutes. it had just the right amount of hop spice to dial back the strange but good sweetness underneath. bark bark woof woof :-)

well i have not seen this anywhere else in the area but maybe i'll see it around NYC. overall its just a really drinkable beer and still waiting for sixpoint to let me down but it has not happened yet
