Shane. Make this beer. Put it in cans. I will buy it by the truck.

It looks great: copper with sticky head and lace all over the snifter. It's 5.1% alcohol, sticky hopped in the aroma and incredibly sharp at the front of the taste. And it finishes clean. Pine and grapefruit up front, thin pale malt character in the middle, and a crisp citrus end.

Sixpoint made a real winner, and I was happy to buy a growler of it after Captain Lawrence's release over the other options of Racer X, and a couple Ballast Point barrel-aged beers. This is local, fresh, and tasty. Cheers, guys. Keep doing your thing.

I just wish it was in some cans!

A cloudy yellow amber color with a hefty off-white head and very chunky lacing. The aroma brings a light grain that suggests rice and wheat and an idea of some herbal hop. The flavor starts with a nice bright citrus hop bite that relents to the cereal grains with a peppery tang that opens up your palate. This is on the light side but it’s not weak and offers an effervescent feel that carries the hops right through your tongue. Very drinkable and satisfying for any hophead. Nice.

Poured into pint from growler. Purchased by a buddy at the deciccos Brewster.
Slight golden haze with thick foam. Great hoppy and grapefruit aroma.
Taste is an easy yet hoppy flavour; grapefruit and yeast are present, as well as a slight bitter (seems to be present in most sixpoint brews).
Overall, a really good session IPA and a nice collaboration with Deciccos. I'd buy a growler myself...

Just what the doctor ordered. An easy drinkin' session hopfest. Towering head of off white meringue and hazy burnt orange fluid.
It stays forever and leaves nice lacing. Smell is full of citrus and pine, sweet caramel and bready malt. Taste is a real winner. Really big hops for the abv and slightly smaller malt backbone. That being said the malt is excellent with pale and caramel predominating and a nice toasted grain flavor showing. Finish is dry and long as it drips with hop oil and grapefruit. Feel is light and crisply carbonated. A superb session ale for the hop lover and Alex the beer man at DeCicco's should be proud of his baby as should Sixpoint for crafting such a solid beer.

They went through the first keg "in a day", hopefully the kegs will keep flowing of this custom for DeCicco's, new addition to the Sixpoint line....got over there for a $6.99 32 ounce growler pour this evening.

Pours quite hazed, dull, lighter amber, the oatmeal head initially was huge, slowly going to a thicker film and leaves better then respectable scattered sheets, blobs, bits and strands of thicker lacing.

Fresh smelling, faintly fruity with some herbal hop notes in the nose.

Super easy drinking, with fresh hops out front, floral, minty and resinious, malty sweetness on the back end balancing things out. Nice brew, hoppy and dry in the finish, but not bitter.

Went well with some aged chedder.
