Reviewed on 9/12/09 at RNH with a new friend Pete. Special thanks to Patrick from RNH for hosting a great festival.
Appearance: Dark Cloudy brown with little head.
Smell: Hot chillies and hops.
Taste: Opens with floral and piny hops which are there till the finish. Right in the middle there is a subtle heat which intensifies with each sip leaving a mildly hoppy and full of heat aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with no carbonation and rather smooth but as the heat picks up you are left with a spicy palate.
Drinkability: Personally I like hot food but as far as my beer is concerned the less heat the better.
