A:Pours a muddy brown body with muddy lighter highlights. Velvety froth crowns the beer at about two fingers, sand colored and draping the sides of the glass.
S: General hop aroma at initial inhale, tarry pine and slight sweet citrus. Hefty malt backbone of baked dark breads and pie crust.
T:Oddly fruity, with hints at cherries, raspberries, and figs intertwined in moderate hop flavors, again pine and grapefruit. Earth and spice come in at the middle, touch of nutmeg and then cut grass. At a sweetness washes all the flavors.
M: Medium bodied with a dry finish.
O: Overall, the flavors were surprising but well balanced.

(Served in a Nonic)
A- This beer pours a dense walnut brown body that glows at the base with strands of microbubbles leading to a sticky thick head that has some nice lacing.
S- The yeasty ester aroma is almost bubble gum in character with a dark dry toffee and grain spice to follow
T- The slight sweetness leads to an earthy spicy to a full on green herbal hop flavor that lingers in the aftertaste with some roasted malt notes popping up. The dry finish helps enhance the malt character.
M- The medium mouthfeel has a gentle crisp fizz in the finish.
O- This is a nice dry rye beer with a good balance of dark malt and dark hop mixed in.

Ruby red pour with a dense shaving cream off-white head.
Aromas of rye grain, malt and spice. Also a tinny smell, in a pilsner fashion, throws me off.
Rye and malt. Yea pretty straight forward. Spiciness from the rye is delicious.
Refreshing, creamy and sassifying.
Pretty darn good for a rye brew. Nice change of pace in my citra hop world. Will definitely buy again.

Brown and red hued liquid with an off white creamy head. Nose is all malt and rye. Nice balance of roasted malt and rye. Nice sweetness to it. Also a bit of smoke and spice. A simple yet tasty brew that shows how good rye can be. Overall a very delicious and enjoyable beer. Recommended.
