Appearance-Pours into pint glass a reddish chestnut brown with rich beige head, sticky lacing clings to the side as the head recedes into a milimeter or so of film which remains throughout, bundling on the edges.

Aroma-Citrus hops and sweet dark malts are dominant, caramelly with hints of dark fruits. A little grassy as well. The rye is very well balanced and far from dominant but lends its distinct spice in a tactfully reserved manner; I like it.

Taste-Dry and citrusy upfront but then cut by some malty sweetness; caramel and citrusy hops with that touch of grassyness as noted on the nose. The Rye adds a bit of spice that becomes more and more pronounced towards the finish and ends with a dry twang. Very well balanced.

Mouthfeel-Just full enough without being too heavy and with adequate carbonation; excellent.

Overall/Drinkability-This beer has singlehandedly changed my entire mindset on Rye beers, I had initially written the entire style off as I had not found a single example I liked. That said, this is an extremely well crafted brew that is supremely drinkable, well done Sixpoint, well done.

Ruby red pour with a dense shaving cream off-white head.

Aromas of rye grain, malt and spice. Also a tinny smell, in a pilsner fashion, throws me off.

Rye and malt. Yea pretty straight forward. Spiciness from the rye is delicious.

Refreshing, creamy and sassifying.

Pretty darn good for a rye brew. Nice change of pace in my citra hop world. Will definitely buy again.

Brown and red hued liquid with an off white creamy head. Nose is all malt and rye. Nice balance of roasted malt and rye. Nice sweetness to it. Also a bit of smoke and spice. A simple yet tasty brew that shows how good rye can be. Overall a very delicious and enjoyable beer. Recommended.
