A thicker looking draw from the tap, the maroon-brown syrup flowed lovingly into the freshly rinsed pint glass. The dark white head dissipated after a few drinks. There is no heaviness in the feel or flavor of this beer. The silky mouth feel disappeared as quickly as the liquid leaves the mouth, revealing a clean drink. Righteous has a pleasant velvet feel with a tinge of smoke flavor.

A brief citrus aftertaste begs for more, and I complied.

If this is at all representative, I will be drinking more rye.

I enjoy this one alot. It has nice dry taste which goes down real smooth. I can make this one of my regular brews to have in the fridge. It also seems to stay pretty will in the fridge without spoiling. I had a case of 24 back in December. I have a few cans left and they still taste as fresh.
